––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Domination issue # 04 ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Finally its back, after some usual magazine delay a whole new issue is infont of you! Basically a whole new outfit with many improvements and new features, a job well done by the Dom coding crew. New graphics, exclusive musics and a whole compilation of text to cover all areas of the scene. Delays, a small delay was taken with the organization and of a disconnected phone line! You can imagine how angry i could have been when my phone line was cut for a minor phone bill. But ofcourse this was paid and things returned to normal. You may have also noticed that i've switched groups, and the organization of this major project also takes up a great deal of time, especially with the marijuana, as i need to mellow my thought! 8)

SCOPE of F4CG was an inspiration to the younger generation of the scene, and with his departures leaves a great friend, a cool scener and a brilliant graphician. One of his last works can be viewed in the intro picture he painted for me. I consider him, along side Cruise/Taboo, to be one of the IFLI format masters. This issue is for you Mathias, may you rest in peace. >>>

‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ □ News & Rumours □ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Welcome to one of the most read chapters, here we examine the happenings in the scene since the release of issue three, so apologies if any old news! hehe, ok lets get this on the way. Single News: · Gizmo joined Accept. · Dr.Acid of Extend got busted for the third time. · The Censor board, Attraction, in Sweden, will re-open sometime in the near future. · The game "Doom" maybe soon converted into a movie. · Chg/Arcoss/Pwa joined Accept. · Hightower joined Accept with his board "Divine Inter- vention and changed handle to "SoulKeeper". · Skyflash and Ziz of Oneway are currently working on a new assembler for C64 that can handle 10,000 lines and not 4096 like the Turbo Assembler. (!)

He joined Accept. · Diabolo apparently left Padua due to no time. · Sun Dancer/Ex-M8/Ex-Regina is at the moment on the run from the Danish goverment. The reason is a huge phone bill of 100,000 danish crowns (about 25,000 german marks) that he built up during the last three months. As most people know he joined the Pc scene and the group Razor 1911 under the claims that he had as many calling cards as he needs. But he did not! He called direct.
· Blaze joined up with Xenon. · The German established old group Nemesis has been re-built by original members. Imperator (Ex-Sharks), Amputator (ex-Poison), Long Drink (ex-Poison), Mephisto (Ex-Pandora), Attraction (Ex-Pandora) and Sky (Ex-Pandora). · Rumours say that a new demo will come from Censor called Deep. Maybe more code from Bob,John,Alfatech? · Focus have been planning their legal version of Sh0ck for sometime now but no life sign yet from Mirage or The Dark Judge. An internet version would also be available called CyberSh0ck. Rumour also adds they might do a co-op demo with Padua soon. · The very old english cracking group Laser died. Shuze left them as the group didn't quite pick up after Steve/AvT left the scene.
· Fluid got rebuilt by original members including Tds. · Focus memberstatus: Hein Design,Tdj,Jvd,Compyx,Mirage,Sander,Fonzie,Mca Anorganic,HeathCliff,vj,Pdb and X-Byte. · D'arc/Topaz finally finished his army service and re-entered the scene. Most members restarted again with a new group called Cascade, apparently ThunderBlade quit the scene. · As posted on several boards, apparently the Nov. issue of Relax had a false interview with Manfred Trenz, coder of Turrican 1+2,Enforcer etc.. It was rumoured to be over two years old and some facts were described falsely. As Manfred himself stated. But this is only a rumour, yet.
· Rebels died, most members joined up with Atlantis and their disk magazine NewsPress died. The former editors of this magazine joined on the staffs of Immortal Flash and Metamorphosis. They will again produce the Amiga and C64 for the Asian and Eastern European markets. This ofcourse means an expansion in our current software & hardware. · The X-Raffi/Ex-Xrated returned to the scene as a freelancer. · Congratulations to Ignorance/AFL'70 on his marriage on May 26th. May their children be raised into a life of ICA (Ignorance's Cracking Academy). · Dytec died!!! Stone remained in Motiv8 and Dodger joined Onslaught & Hardcore. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Alphaflight'1970 (germany, usa, hol,uk) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Very active group these days with lots of different things happening. Firstly Zapotek/Atlantis joined them as paper gfx'er and trader. Shuze/<C>/Laser joined in as a supplier and cracker. Things were going great, but then SkinHead and SkidRow shocked quite a few people with their announcement of leaving the flight for Avantgarde. Not long after though they left and rejoined back. A excellent cracker by the name of Ignorance joined in and also stayed in Onslaught, cracking for both groups. But arguements started and he left Ons to try stop the fighting between both groups. Hoping to expand their ntsc capabilities both Ignorance and SkinHead obtained ntsc chips. The flight was in full effect with some members managing to call out full time.
But then Peacemaker, Curlin, Racoon and Vortex left Afl and the scene at x-95, although Peacemaker still calls out occassionally, Mystical Paradise is down. Mutant-X found his way back to the flight and he may put up his board again soon. But at this stage remains inactive. The Evil Island went down due to lack of callers and support, but may go back up again soon. Lately a new edition to the flight comes from Russia, namely Disaster. Who'll help spread the wares. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Atlantis (Ger,Usa,Hol) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ As usual many changes and ups/downs with this large group. Firstly Mr.Giga/Ex-Astral joined in as megaswapper. With the death of Rebels came some extra members: Artlace (code, gfx) Dano (gfx, code) Dave (paper gfx) Dr Who (gfx, swap) Neotec (mag, swap) Tuc (crack, gfx, code, swap) Xposer (swap) Zapotek (swap, paper gfx) The paper magazine Artpress became Atlantis product Former editors of the now dead Newspress will help in the comeback of the cool Immortal Flash. Zapotek left them soon after for Alphaflight. A german scener from Laxity called Didi joined in as a swapper & cracker. One of their musicians, Skull, left them for Chromance.
But some good news to end things and thats the return of Dr Disc to the scene and to Atlantis. Also Aegis (code, swap) and Agemixer (composer) joined in. Human left them for Hardcore. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Avantgarde (Ger,Usa,Uk,Swiss) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Still going strong even though a lot of this groups members are inactive to a degree. Nastiness Inc left the group to start a new crew called Angry. Apparently he was about to be kicked anyway. Eliminator decided to stay in but still serve H/P wise for Onslaught and to help phreak wise with Avt. He later gained an Amiga and quite the scene for a brief two weeks, but then returned. Both SkidRow and Skinhead joined in, but a week or so later returned back to Alphaflight. (ed: odd move!) Rumours persisted of SecretMan also joining, but these are false. DreamPark became the Avt world hq shared with F4CG. The sysop Cyborg joined both Avt & F4Cg and rumours say he might fix soon for F4CG.
Jack Alien gained a ntsc chip and has done some fixing lately. (ed: hi kirby!) Additional support was given to the Dream Park bbs gfx department with Chameleon doing some splendid artwork to touch up the board. He later decided to also join. Steve never left the United Kingdom as things fell through majorally with his USA trip/marriage. A nightmare phonecall ended this on Christmas eve when someone told him she was already married. This infact is NOT true! The bride to be at that Christmas period was taken to hospital for stomach operations and her house friend was interupted whilst stealing belongings from her house by a call from Steve. She told him some lies and abandoned the house. Steve is currently in Wansworth/London and is trying to raise the funds to establish a toll free 0800 line. Intruder joined in as a megaswapper.
Avt's fixing problems seemed to fixed with the joining of Suicide. This persons identity for unknown reasons is kept a guarded secret, although maybe he was Burner??! There is still no news on the return of Prodigy or the Terminal Obsession bbs from Florida. DreamPark 1-619/788-6615 Avt + F4Cg Whq! Shuze/Laser joined and accidentally supplied some games to Scs*Trc, he later left and joined Afl. MrWax now in the army still manages to direct the group and release the occasional game. Stake left them to join Onslaught, he had been back billed on some blueboxing with a $500,000 phone-bill he doesn't have to pay this though and still calls the internet. Edge of Midnight still remains down but should go back online soon. Probably their most active member, Homeboy joined Onslaught and pushed Chromance back to second, both him and Stake will still support Chromance as Onslaught are on very terms with them.
The American phreaker/musician/sysop known as Sphere joined them for a brief period of time but later left for Onslaught. The cool programmer Fuben joined in also but left to Oxyron's offer. Chromance takes on a steady rebuild and gained all of Accept Design. Also Skull/Atlantis joined as a musician followed by two Hungarians Jaydee and Janee. Edge Of Midnight 1-609/587-5759 <C> Whq! Doc Stoned changed handle to Explicit. WildFire/Ex-ARCADE re-entered the scene and joined in. Apis left the scene while Echo left them for Plush. Also R.b./3lux joined as a Polish cracker. Their magazine "Ingenious Brain" merged with the FLT mag, "Reformation" and created a joint Eqx+Flt production called "Shout". Other coop releases are also planned. Stan left them for the group Trsi. The leadership was handed over the Red Rock. Sentinel will still support Excess in some ways from time to time. They lost Intruder to Avantgarde. Bordeaux/Ex-Acrise returned to the scene and joined Accept but later joined Excess as a swapper. Relax #9 said that Authentic joined Onslaught, but this is infact false, and he still remains in the group. Liquid left the scene to concentrate on his X-ample programming. DeathLok/Onslaught joined in as graphician and musician. They finally gained a ntsc fixer from Australia called Cerebus (Ex-Messiah) who has done some good work so far. H-Bloxx left them for Excess as swapper. Druid/Agony/F4cg left them to concentrate on programming games, but we can guess who gets these! King is starting to call out again and he promises soon an Italian full price game. Bitman got busted for hacking internet accounts and same with Hain, who had some problems with the phone company also. Sh0cking news reached through the Swedish boards, through internet then finally everywhere else which reported the death of brilliant graphician Scope/F4CG
He fell into a subway and was killed on March 16th at 6am. Investigations are currently taking place to see if it was indeed murder. F4CG got a new whq after the failed rejuvination of Tunnel of Wares, this time Dream Park, which they share with AVT. Cyborg the sysop later joined both F4CG and AVT and may ntsc fix for the group in the future. Many members left the Swedish legal group Noice, to join, these were: Total Chaos,Draz,Devil,Decoder & Goz A demo has already been released (ed:reviewed in this issue) which was also dedicated to Scope. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Onslaught & Hardcore (aus, swe, den, ger, usa, hun) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ The birth of a new group into the scene! Jazzcat/LEGEND, Vengeance/SCS*TRC and Majesty/TALENT formed this group. Shades and Morbid from Shazam joined in. Arthur/Fun Factory changed handle to Balance and joined in as a Hungarian swapper, but later was kicked for inactiveness. HeavyHead/Camelot joined in and pushed Cml back to his second group. His Danish board, WestPoint became [O+H] Scandanvia Hq and later on Vandalism News Ehq. Bizarre/Trance joined and returned to megaswapping he also will co-edit for Vandalism and do articles for this magazine. Chrysagon and Ignorance left Dytec and joined in as crackers, Ignorance later left for Alphaflight and then rejoined [O], cracking for both Afl'70 and [O]. He later left again when arguements broke out, he only
left to stop or quiten down these arguements. Smd/ATL joined in as second group as a graphician. Deekay/CREST did the same. Morrisey/TALENT joined in and Down By Law became the world hq. Chotaire,Homeboy,Stake and Sphere left Chromance and joined. Chotaire's bbs "The Pirate Island" became [O+H] Ehq. Homeboy remains in Chromance as 2nd crew. Sphere also runs under the handle Insomniak and his bbs "Liquid Palace" is online again, running with cool graphics and c*base term. Insane/Shazam left and joined as graphician. The Ministry and La*Style from the dead G*p joined in as crackers. Kbs/Ex-REGINA joined as Danish megaswapper. DeathLok/Padua joined in as graphician but later left for F4CG. (ed: we'll miss ya Butch!) Witty/Accuracy joined [O] as 1st but stayed in Acy. Lately Xerez/Shazam changed handle to Upbeat and joined. But for the time being is inactive.
Two members of the H/P group "Phreedom" joined in, namely Xentor and Protheus. They later left to remain in Phreedom only and will still support [O+H] with occassional codes. Eliminator/DOD joined in as h/p but decided to remain in Avantgarde only, but still supports us. Jolz/Darkside joined as coder but is on the inactive list for a short while. Gop/Darkside joined as mail-trader and will work for Vandalism. The Hegg/Bad Karma from New Zealand joined but some time later left to remain in BK only. Nomad co-sysop of "Fortress of Doom" joined as wares runner and supplier. But two months later left the scene. Grize/Darkside joined in as coder and graphician. The Twins a dutch gfx duo from Holland joined. Baze/Ex-ILLUSION, Jason & Doom joined. Recently Dodger/Dytec joined as modem trader and cracker.
Lets take a look at the Hardcore section.. Firstly The Raver was booted. Rage left Fairlight for them as cracker, coder and orrie supplier. Volunteer also of Flt, left to join as supplier and trader. Human/Atlantis joined as coder and supplier. Recently both Hi-Lite and Raze were removed from the memberlist for inactivity, but are NOT kicked. Still underway from them is the magazine coded by Rap and edited by B-Wyze called "Zensored" which should be out soon. Combined news: Onslaught & Hardcore went into "cracking" coop. CountZero/FLT Snes is fixing for them and support is also from Midfit/Trsi and Massive Onslaught/Style in the ntsc fixing dept.
[O+H] will export and ntsc fix all future TRSI wares. The demo section of Onslaught was formed, funnily named, Onslaught Design. Joint demos with MegaStyle Productions are planned. The magazine Vandalism News became a [OD] product. The magazine from Jazzcat called Domination is still an independant production. Down By Law 1-203/875-5454 [O+H] Whq! Tts and Axis quit coding on C64 but Axis later returned to it and Tts may even do something from time to time. BizKid left them for Camelot taking his magazine SkyHigh with him. Both RRR/Oxyron and him had several arguements and BK fired RRR from the Skyhigh staff. RRR was NOT booted as some magazines say. Oxyron gained Fuben from Chromance as coder. A fake Comalight was released and is no demo by them. They still release quite strongly with Graham doing the main programming work now. Asmodis-Axis-Fuben-Graham-Pri-Rrr-Scrapper and Tts. (c64)

Vengeance & Morbid left them for the new Onslaught. The Dungeon suffered some serious set-backs after a tremendous run. Firstly it was formatted once and then formatted a second time by an unknown. The toll free 1800 number routed to this board also went down after a duration of nine months. This did some damage to caller volume, but as it stands today, The Dungeon is still a top Usa board. Rumour has it that Lord Crucifier will soon start fixing. They also did a successful C64 party in Holland with Focus which rewarded the scene with many new productions. Splatterhead & Vengeance will do a paper edition for

The two Australian members RoadRunna and Slice were removed from the memberlist due to inactivity. One of their Swedish boards, ILLusion of Reality went down when Midnight Mover left the scene due to personal problems. He has been spotted calling out again recently so hopes are vivid. They booted OB and Grey Eminence for plain arrogance and wish that any releases by these two people have nothing to do with Trsi. Conan/Ex-STRIKE FORCE/Ex-ELITE returned to the scene and joined them, his comeback was the Trsi first release of PacBall. Trsi will have all their future releases exported & fixed by Onslaught & Hardcore. A noticable effort from Midfit/TRSI who did fixing for the Shout Magazine by Eqx+Flt. Of recent Stan/Eqx+Flt joined them as swapper and modem trader. Irata-Midfit-Conan-Mws-Crisp-Danzig-Stan-Uyanik and The Breaker.
Thats it for this issue's news sections, any contributions maybe left in email, vmb mail or snailmail in the address section. If any memberstatus is incorrect we apologize and wish you to know how hard it is with the continuing shift in the C64 scene, please notify us and the status will be rectified in the next issue. Enjoy the rest of the magazine. Jazzcat/[O+H] and SplatterHead/Scs*Trc "The only thing dangerous about knowing the truth, is telling it.."
□ Domination issue #4 Mail Charts □ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Welcome to the mail charts where i have collected the votes that YOU have given and compiled them into some sort of positional thing. Many beers fly out to the spreaders of the Domination votesheets, you guys are mentioned in 'Summary'. Its weird how charts vary in different magazines, some people complain on positions, whilst others argue with why a particular group/scener/product is voted, in the end it all boils down to one thing, people just have different opinions. In this issue these opinions, are added to hopefully compile a 'fair' chart in everyone's opinion. I have also added my own comments after each catagory. Au Revoir.

Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Avantgarde make it home with quality cracking from Jack Alien and DerbyShire Ram, and some great spreading from their trader, Intruder. Success & Trc drop one spot from their throne, they have been quite dominate in the mail charts for quite sometime though. A very inactive (mail-wise) Chromance stays at third from last month. While a huge jump from 11 to 4 is performed by F4cg, who have some brilliant crackers such as Sneaper, Hain and Antitrack. Alphaflight dropped from 2 to 5, but should rise again by next issue with the quality of Ignorance. Excess seem to keep creeping forth, maybe some more first releases will help also. The new co-op, [O+H] make a combined opening on nine. Whilst some oldies like Flt, Triad and Legend slip to allow some new entrys.

Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Jack Alien takes over place #1 from Burglar with his cool mail versions. Hain does a surprise leap, considering his slowed down pace this shouldn't of happened, but look at this outfit! Derby Ram, a familiar in the charts rises from pos.7 A excellent cracker in the name of Bacchus/FLT rises to fifth position, its good to see the votes are starting to pan out to people that deserve them. Chrysagon is back in the top ten again, after quite a break, perhaps his group change sparked some activeness. Powerplant and CountZero fall many places, Count Zero has done some nice mail & first release cracks lately, he will rise in next issue for sure. Ignorance finally gets into the top 15, an excellent, experienced cracker who deserves a top 5 status!

Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ The top duo remain the same since last issue, but should fall places by next issue. Byterapers is rewarded by position three from #22, after their World Of Code series, a deserved position. Fairlight for some reason rise, even though they haven't released anything for ages. Crest finally start to drop positions, but maybe will pick up as soon as their demo and music collection are released. Reflex enter the top and will rise very rapidly by next issue, with their brilliant trackmo's. The old group Light manage to sneak in, for the first time in ages. Megastyle should be higher and so should Padua and maybe Byterapers. Wrath Designs should be in the top #10!!

Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Tts holds the number one spot, but for how long? Mr Sex debuts at position #2 and is the highest new entry. Slammer rises one more place after his Tower Power effort. The mighty Crossbow naturally falls from place two due to inactivity, release wise. Axis & Graham from the Oxyron posse rise in the charts. The latter half consists of coders losing points because of inactivity or delay in their releases. Ed/WD and Depeh should be higher, where as Tts, Crossbow and Zodiac should not be as high. Where is the brilliant Quiss of Reflex, he should be in the Top #5. Also Scroll/MSP, Jfk/Triad and some Light members should rise soon..

Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Electric takes over the top position from Creeper, both are a little inactive. Joe stays steady on number three, whilst the polish talent, Cruise/Taboo rises 1 position and will continue with the release of Ritual 2. Fazee does a huge jump from number 20 to 6. Hein and Rob lose places, but activity should pick up with future group projects. Ans/Spirit wonders into the top after a break and RRR/Oxyron does a nice jump from position 12 to 7. Mainly because of his cool "intro" logos and full screen pics.. 8) Mirage and Ogami Should fall and Dane might rise, look 8] at his nice artwork in the main menu!

Deserved votes fly to Jeff/Cml and he moves from position 5 to 3. Compod does a noticable jump to position 6 from 18, due to a music collection and some nice game musics. Pvcf/Reflex debuts at number eight after his cool soundtracks for "Radio Napalm" and "Access Denied". Danko and Drax all many places, whilst Jvd/Focus stays steady at position 15. Pri and Jeroen Tel should fall places due to inactivity and so should Red Devil of Fairlight. Morbid/Ss should be far higher.

Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Splatterhead steals first place along with Spermbird on position #2, both did spectacular jumps from positions #4 and #6 respectivly. Maybe because they both spread Domination, huhhuh! 8) The mail king, Intruder, debuts at position #3 and will be a regular in these charts in the future. Calypso,D'ram and Nightshade all fall places after slips of activity and lazyness.. or in some cases with people, the internet.. heh Dr.Kaos and Starlight move from positions 22 & 23 into the top #15. Comments ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Nitro & Skyhigh remain firm on their top 2 places. Vandalism News did a massive jump from position #14 to #3, very regular releasing. Revealed by Imn stays at #4, but will lose places due to regularity. Insider makes a debut at position #5, a great mag that will grow as more issues are released for sure. Propaganda does a nice move from #17, great editorial work, only a plan to regular release it will allow for further rising by next issue. Gamers Guide is included for the last time, as this original magazine died at issue #25, well done by the Triad team though for the strong work. Splash dropped many places , but they managed to put out another issue lately which will give them more votes for next issue. Shout should be higher.

Next issue an American will take over this chapter, which i think will make this chapter more accurate. Firstly some news from the Land of No Hackers.. · AMERICAN NEWS: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ # Zirc0/F4cg left this group to remain legal, after some unsuccessful attempts at getting the old "Tunnel of Wares" online again, but only in Ucbbs mode. Later he joined Storm as a musician and then decided to rejoin F4CG. Maybe soon TOW will be back up? # Grego/Motiv8 after successfully getting "In Living Color" online again went into an inactive period. But again is active in the way of calling out.
# Chameleon started a return to board painting with some spectacular prompts and pics for "Dream Park" because of his ties and good friendship with AVT, he joined in. (Ed: Marcellus hurry up with that pic! 8) # Eliminator decided to return to the group scene and serve as Hack/Phreaker and Internet source for Onslaught, but he later decided to stay in Avantgarde, his last service to date was the routing of the 1800 number to "Dream Park". After a while the Amiga caught the interest of him and he left the scene for a short time of two weeks. But later rejoined the scene, but only solo. # Nomad joined Onslaught as supplier and modem trade but two months later decided to take a break from the scene so is put on the inactive list. # Cyborg from "Dream Park" decided to join both Avt and F4cg and rumours say also he may soon fix (!).
# DeathLok got back into the group thing and left Padua for Onslaught, but a month later joined F4CG, but with all three groups he has been inactive. (Ed: Hey butch the logos??!) # Shadow and Mutant-X are planning to restart the old group Avatar with a bbs. # Mizar/Ex-G*P/Ex-Empire joined Motiv8 and took his board "Intertrade" as the Motiv8 whq, also his h/p capabilities (?) enabled the Denmark based group to call out more regular to the Usa. Unfortunatly Mizar got busted after about 5 weeks in the group for phone fraud related crimes. # HighTower joined Accept and renamed to Soul keeper, also his Canadian Board Divine Intervention became the Accept World Head Quarter. # Moloch/F4CG left due to responsabilities of the
games lable, Threshold Productions. But also serves under the handle "Skyclad" incase some never knew. # Sphere/UD decided to join Chromance, but due to the ack of activity left them for Onslaught. He also calls under the handle Insomniak. # Empire have posted on quite a few occasions that Extremist will soon return to the fixing scene and bring a board online aswell. But it has been quite sometime since this was said. # Massive Onslaught/Ex-Armaggedon is fixing quite activly for Style and has done some intro fixing for Onslaught & Hardcore also. # Rumours say that the Suicide/Avt is indeed Pudwerx under the handle. But this is probably false.
· American Board News: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Some weird things have happened lately in the American board section, lets take a look.. # Edge of Midnight will soon go back online for either Chromance or Hardcore & Onslaught. It will have some cool specs with: 1.2 Gigs of Harddrive space for C64 only. 9 meg ramlink and available 14.4k connections. Running on a different styled Omni 128 prog. # The Evil Island goes offline due to lack of support and callers. Apparently though, it will go back up soon, so call it! 1-314/587-7612. # Liquid Palace is part-time online again with the sysop being Sphere/[O+H]. It can be called from 10pm to 10am EST. 1-609/396-6832.
# Rumours say that Avt were going to share 'Divine Ultimatum' with Genesis Project. But due to G*P dying and DU still not online, Avt decided to share 'Dream Park' with F4cg. # Morrisey/Talent left them for Onslaught and made Down By Law the Onslaught & Hardcore world hq. Unfortunatly some modem problems were experienced and its been off/on line regularly. # Some fucked up lamer formatted The Dungeon twice, the board is back online with the old mod running. The 1800# went down finally to this board after a good nine months! Several demos have been released, by Rpg, Storm and a few other groups. Some new boards should arrive soon and there is no new news on 'Terminal Obsession' going back online.
Comments: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Hope to see some more action in the American scene its a pity that ntsc fixing isn't taken as serious these days. But some od favourites might soon return. Jazzcat/[O+H] My Time, Your Fate, I wait on you..
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ □ Domination 1st Release lists □ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Welcome to the list, this issue we make a revision of the instructions and rules of 'first releases'. The reason being several new boards and some boards going down, or a general shift in the market. Domination release informations Version 2.0 The Point System: A full price game will get 5.X points. A budget game will get 3.X points. A low-budget game will get 2.X points. A preview will get 0.X points. 'x' being the game quality points. A basic game will recieve 1.x points. *Lamer group wares will not be counted at all. *A fix file means a -1 point deduction from the total.
amount of points, also a second 100% fix from the same group with also get a -1 from their total. *A re-release is a -5 points deduction from the total amount of points. *The first 100% fix gets the points. Which means: 0.x for previews (of any game) 2.x for low-budget games (game on,c-force,pd) 3.x for budget games (golden disk,cp verlag, loadstar) 5.x for a full-price game (us gold, apex, denton designs) -5 for a re-release of a old game. -1 for a fix file or a 100% version. 1.x for basic games excluding quality. An additional 1 point is awarded for a full translation. The quality in the 'x' is made up from considering the fun a game gives to the player, how the graphics and the sounds are made, and so on.. x.0 to x.9.
The ntsc/pal system: A total of 2 points are added to the total of a first release, that was not released on pal before. (and vice versa with ntsc.) Only 1 point is given for a 100% fixed game which was released first on pal and then fixed afterwards, to gain a full point in this fix, the game must be put on one of the major C64 boards within 6 months of the pal first release. Games over 10 months since release are not counted. The following list is of the Major boards that are used for the Domination counting.. Dream Park 1-619/788-6615 Avt+F4cg Whq! Down By Law 1-203/875-5454 [O+H] Whq! The Dungeon 1-214/503-7182 Scs*Trc Whq! Holiday Inn Cambodia 1-510/689-8893 Afl Whq! Dead Zone 1-215/637-0823 Excess Whq!
other boards also counted incase of probems.. The Pirate Island +49/216-21606 [O+H] Ehq! Fortress of Doom 1-908/354-0897 Atl Whq! Wares Aqaurium +46/8384587 Flt+Eqx Whq! No points are given to games made using any kind of game makers such as sueck, game maker, gac, quill etc A version of a non-english game which is brought out later 100% translated will get 1 point extra on the classed points. If the translation is not 100% then no points are given. Incase a group spreads their ware on 3 major boards only and another group puts their version on the remaining boards, the first group gets the points if the time difference is at least 24 hours, less than that and the second group will get the points. A fixed game (ntsc) is a ware which works on both pal and ntsc computers without any difference.
The basic/ml rules: Concerning games released that are basic or have basic files mixed with a code loader, these are still counted in their full effect. Whether being budget, low budget or even full price. Concidering that this type of software is not of higher quality in most circumstances the quality points in ?.x will recieve lower than a .5. If the game is FULLY basic it recieves a 1.x denomination. All games are quality and 100% tested and our decision is final. If in the situation of a miscalculation the problem is rectified and points are added to the group or groups total in the next issue.. Btw: If a preview of a game is found to be made from the original by the crack group, then points are deducted from the full version that the preview is worth, ONLY if the full game is released by the same group that released the prv. This will stop groups doing "made" previews for point advantage. -Jc

General outline: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ ALPHAFLIGHT have a good charge since issue three, Orbits gave some contraversy, but it recieves points, although some say its still not 100%. Unfortunatly re-release pts with a fixed prv version of Klepkomania. Roll over also has a reported bug, when choosing unlimited time it errors. Other than that good work, particulary from P.maker and Ignorance. ATLANTIS only in with a small preview, but more should come. AVANTGARDE follow in to number one position. Bombi isn't counted as too much opinions on whether it was a fixed preview or not. Chicken only gets pal points, even though a 99.9% fix was achieved by Suicide. CHROMANCE still releasing steadily, not to blame them but a re-release came, even though they couldn't know as know Chromance members were really calling on a
regular basis, except for Homeboy who uploaded three games on the instructions of MrWax. F4CG released a lot of previews but made a good attack onto the wares market. Arguements later in the field concerning the "Magazine" game released by scs*trc with Maja & Nightshade using Dream Park as a battle ground. MOTIV8 released well with some joint effort with Afl'70 also. But of late no sign of releases. ONSLAUGHT & HARDCORE; the new co-op did well with a debut in Domination at position two. Some great games such as Long Life, The House, Misfortune v2 pv etc were released. Flummi's world was only 99% fixed so a 100% version was later released by Avt. TALENT is near dead except for some old inactive members, their last release made it to the boards after being on a german board for 6 months. We hope to see some products from their small legal section soon though.
SUCCESS & TRC have and excellent two months, points are not given to their untranslated release of Kacper. Cyberball wasn't 100% as the outro sequence was filled by zero bytes, Afl later released the 100% version. Coldiarius was a particulary good game from them and also Shaman prv shows some promises. TRISTAR & RED SECTOR INC. still managed to get some previews out, unfortunatly they were beaten by a fixed version of one of their full games. Midfit is again active, time will tell. XENON managed to put out only previews, but still worthy efforts justify them in chart position, hope to see them in next issue to follow up with the full games. Dytec release a uncounted game as of no translation. Accept were not counted because of too many re-releases. The Charts >>>

Empire and Demonix still manage to do a release now and then. F4cg enter the charts, well done Cerebus.
This issue there was many contraversial releases, so please take under consideration the pressure of which the editor is put under to judge a correct list. Many releases on the c64 with some full price games still to come. Good news also burdens the horizon with the company Escom buying Commodore and they'll reproduce the machine in the Eastern market, which will allow more parts, and more games. Have a brief look through the legal game chapter and see future releases and whats in-store. Particular merit is awarded to the top four groups with close positions. Still going strong! ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Demo reviews pt.1 □ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Some stunning demos have been released lately as we venture into the older age of this computer, but many still have to be released. Rumours say Crest have a co-op music demo ready and also a near complete "CrossBow" demo with new and unreleased parts concentrating on the old traditional demo style. KingFisher is still yet to release "Refugee" the sequel to the classic "Red Storm! (come on Linus! hehe) But the this issue reviewed new "Jfk/Triad" demo seems to have satisfied most for now. Maybe before next issue we will see the following demonstrations.. Brutality IV/LIGHT, Serentity Blue by Graffity and maybe some new MegaStyle Productions demos, as they've come back to the fore.
So whats been tested this issue?? □ Radio Napalm by REFLEX. □ W.o.i.i.f.t.d. by F4CG. □ ContraFlow by COSINE. □ World Demise by SLASH DESIGNS. □ Nation by BLACK CODE DESIGN. □ No Control by TRIAD. □ Ritual 2 by TABOO. □ Parts by OXYRON. All demonstrations are reviewed when the speculator is not on artificial inhibitants. (i.e.Marijuana ,acid etc) Although at a later state the "pleasures" are taken whilst enjoying groups work. I am no coder, graphician or musician, but judge these products from the point of view of a average onlooker so please don't judge my lack of routine names, and the complexity of coding, music or graphics too badly. As all a demo is produced to entertain the scene, i merely judge that entertainment value, lets begin..
Radio Napalm from Reflex. (516 blks) The X-95 winner! ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Not long after their brilliant "Access Denied" comes another first class "winning" demo... "Radio Napalm" Another cool production from the dudes in Reflex and another perfect trackmo music by PVCF. Description: First a fli Reflex logo appears with some powerful bass orientated music by Pvcf/Reflex. The logo then departs the screen to the right. A grey line moves down the screen, diagonally down and right, then vertically right. While this happens a dotted "presents" falls down on the diagonal section of the line and small balls bounce everywhere. The "Quiss Production" screen makes a brief appearance before a zooming filled star vector comes from out of nowhere towards the viewer. The screen pulses white, the music gets it's main beat and a full screen piccy is displayed. The pic shows "Radio Napalm".
The picture moves out of the screen, and a beautiful plasma water fountain effect begins, there is about four different effects and it looks very nice, from its burst at the beginning and the fade out. A spaceship look-a-like filled vector rotates on the screen and is soon replaced by a water fall style pasma bits in green/yellow and blue, giving a water style effect. Beneath this appears a shadow of "Reflex" which is soon filled with similar waterfall effects, but with a fire type color style of red/d.pink/orange. The original waterfall fades out, then the Reflex shadow disperses soon after. Now a huge cube filled vector comes from right to left across the screen. Now a lo-res pic of Reflex is span around and around and then this switches to a similar swirling full screen plasma, then back to the Reflex pic then to a swirling lines like in "Woc3/Byterapers"..
Then back to the original Reflex swirl. This effect is largely remembered in "Access Denied". Another original part begins, this time chessboard zooming with a difference, the chessboards zoom through each other giving a moving forward feeling. A very nice & smooth routine, one of my favourites. After this some more full screen plasma, bends, and swirls before the viewer, after 3 effects this fades out to be replaced by some large fonts giving greetings and final the end in a fading way. Overall: A great demo, and certainly one for your collection. Reflex certainly have an original style and smooth coding and excellent irq loading trackmo tune by PVCF, make this a true winner. 90/100.
W.o.i.i.t.f.d. from F4CG (236 Blks) Second place at X-95! ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ The first demonstration from this established group in a very long time, and one has the feeling it will be the first in a series. Recruiting some main members of "Noice" the goat power is shown through this short but sweet F4cg production. Certain people believe this as a anti Fairlight demo, this is NOT true, just some irony which i'm sure the coolies in Fairlight will return with soon. Its more of a dedication to the brilliant; Scope/F4CG. Description: Firstly a nice 16 color logo by Draz flips and lands at the top part of the screen. Soon after this a 2 colored F4cg logo in 2 colors appears at the bottom middle. Some nice introduction music begins and a chessboard can be seen moving across of the 2 color logo, using the center of this logo as its rotating axis.
This effect, although not highly complicated is quite nice and smooth. Soon after both the 2 color logo and the chessboard disappear to be replaced by four wind mills, 2 on either side. Then some spiral dot formations appear in the center of the screen, this effect reminds me of a circular saw. After several different patterns, the whole screen fades out and the journey into the sceneland begins.. An aeroplane with pilot flys over a sidelone view of a city. The city has large buildings, as most do, and some of them have small names iike M8,F4CG and a FLT building. The pilot lands onto a building and the screen fades to the next amusing pic. The next sequence shows a FairLight logo and a baby walks into the screen from the left, then gets his penis in a somewhat "errect" way and pisses on the FairLight logo till it fills with yellow urine.
This satiric part fades off and some credit lines come on; Graphics: Draz, Scope/F4cg Code: Draz/F4cg Music: Decoder/F4cg Samples: Newscopy/F4cg Ideas: Draz,Devil,Total Chaos and Newscopy. Some other texts displayed in this section show respect to the late Scope and the music fades out.. A bright, peaceful tune by Decoder begins and a cool full screen Ifli pic of a woman's face portrait appears. Overall: Short, but certainly to the point and a nice start off for the demo section of a 'crack' orientated group! Hopefully the Noice members who joined F4CG will get more active, and maybe a force in the legal market. Cool stuff. 71/100.
Contraflow from Cosine (342 blks) x-95 third place. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ A new demo from mainly a english based group. Cosine are pretty unknown to most, but a quite decent group who have some good releases. Now about their new demo.. Description: Firstly this demo is described as a "autorun" style production. This means a longer trackmo. The intro: Some music times with the screen disappearing. Next a 2x2 scroll comes over the screen introducing the demo and above this an Amiga (ed:yuk!) converted picture is displayed. Over the top of this nice pic some sprite formations of "Cosine" & "Contraflow" fly. Meanwhile the next part is already being loaded into memory, when the intro finishes, the next part begins.. Part II: A nice Cosine logo appears midway in the bottom of the
screen. Then some weird & cool Amiga converted music plays, which was converted by Tmr from Xtd/Union. Some large raster pipes appear at the top of the screen, and text is also stretched over the pipes so it appears to scrolling around the pipes, nice effect! Then at the bottom of the screen another scrolly runs. Eventually this all fades out into the already loaded next part. Part III: A thumpy soundtrack starts and a full screen pic of a Vampyre and its victim appears. On the left side of this pic is a vertical Cosine logo. Then a familiar dycp scroll goes over the pic. A someone smaller part than the others, but good style Part IV: Some raster bars at the top circle around each other and below this appears a picture of a planet and a space ship, which is quite nice. A fld scroller explains the part, which journeys over
the picture. Then some action begins with a Bitmap Tech Tech "CSI" logo which stretchs across the rasterbars. The atmosphere of this part is in a good resemblance to old style demos, especially when the volume is up and the lights are out! After some time this fades out into the next part.. Part V: A nice Cosine logo appears at the top and a 2x2 scroll goes from right to left above this. The scrolling routine as some multi-color fx running through it to spark it up a little. Then in timing with the music a half screen chessboard in the sideborders (!) appears at the bottom and starts zooming in & out towards the screen. This routine has 3 set movements. Very nice part. The End: A small box appears in the middle of the screen and
different 3 colored grey shaded pics appear in this box. Each of these pics is a shrunken sample of a former demo part in the entire demo. There is over 6 pics and credits are displayed for each. This routine is very similar to the note on side 2 of the old classic "Dutch Breeze" from BlackMail. A small 1x1 greets scroller runs underneath this and atop of a "The End" 16 color logo. Overall: A very nice "back to basics" style demo, nothing fascinating but sure a nice production worthy of your collection. Only downer really was the looooong scroll texts the viewer is forced to read.. 75/100.
World Demise by Slash Designs (613 blks) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Slash Designs bring a slightly larger than normal production for them, (usual; one file.). This time its "World Demise", another competition entry at the x-95 party in The Netherlands. Description: Firstly a Slash logo swings into the screen which is soon replaced by a presents font. Music begins and a Amiga ported picture of a forest elf fills the screen. A quite nice picture, much better if it was touched up more. Some texts scrolls across the screen introducing the demo and some credits. >SPACE< The next segment loads and a "Slash" 16 color logo appears at the bottom portion of the screen. Above this runs a 1x1 fonted scrolly giving more informations on that particular part.
Above this two calculated line vectors move quite fast and smooth. Several different shapes appear, firstly cubes then stars, pyramids, plates etc.. A nice familiar part, but nothing mind bending. The next part loads in after pressing space. This part depicts a cartoon with characters, speech bubbles, each super hiresolution pic fades out to un-wind the next part of the story, which amusingly enough is roughly based on a alien sex-romp! After about 4-5 pictures the next part is loaded. Some fast music begins this segment, firstly a 3 color Slash Designs logo swings diagonally up & down whilst a 2x2 scroller Fld's at different rates. The Slash logo is replaced soon with a ported pic of "Christine Applegate" from Married with Children. (Ed.yes big tits ..) This picture is copied over the screen and swings identical to that of the SD logo.
A nice part, more pics or logos would have been nice. My spacebar is pressed, eventually. This next part is probably my least favourite, as its for a coder to view only in my opinion. But still just the same, this part shows 2 picures moving transparently over and behind each other. A Holland flag and a bit of cheese, symbolic or?? hehe. Beneath this a standard 1x1 scroller runs. The part would have been better if some better or larger gfx were involved or perhaps even several objects moving over each other transparently. After pressing spaceBAR the final part is loaded. Some cool music by Deek/CREST (Ed: listen to a new zak by him in this issue.) plays and a "bob" spiral formation in the figure 8 begins. By pressing thesign another different series of bobs and its formation comes in. Other bobs are: balls, stars and some Peace signs.. Underneath this the last scroll routine gives greets.
This part looks quite nice, even better in the sideborders like crest did, but none the less cool. Overall: An average demo with some nice parts from the point of view of the onlooker. Give these guys some more time and i think they could sh0ck us with some stunning stuff. I give it a 62/100. Nation by Black Code Designs (450 Blks) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ I haven't seen anything from this group before, but hopefully they will be promising. This demonstration also entered the X-95 party and recieved position #5. Lets take a closer look at this production.. >>>
Description: Some music plays and then a NATION 16 color logo appears center of the screen and explosion effects appear over it. The logo fades away to show a BLACK CODE DESIGNS full screen 3 logo pic. Here i noticed when the irq loader loads in the next part after the BCD logos disperse, the music gets jilted slightly, this routine needs improvement. Upon the next loading a super hi-res pic of a creature wearing a gas masks centers the screen. You are able to view this for about 4 seconds before the next part begins. A half screen picture & logo is displayed in the lower half of the screen and is painted by Misteal. Above this is a three color vertically moving and bending BCD logo. The x & y sinus speed can be adjusted by using joystick. A very nice styled part.
The next load displays a cool logo by the growing painter, Cupid. This logo is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Above this a small square picture of a girl's face is displayed and then metamorphosised into a fractal. Quite cool, but it could be improved with more pics, colors or smoothness. Upon pressing space the next part is drawn to my attention, a simple BCD 3 color logo appears with timing of the music at the bottom part of the screen. Above this is a small BCD lo-res piccy which zooms in and out towards the viewer, nice. This lo-res pic is soon replaced by a face protrait of a girl which also zooms. A scrolly gives final texts etc. Overall: Coding improvements are needed, but the ideas are definatly there. Keep at it dudes. 60/100.
And that is the end of the first demo review chapter, load the second one for more legal entertainment and the reviews of No Control, Ritual 2 and parts. Jazzcat!
This is the 2nd chapter I edited for the 4th issue of Domination. BiZarre here,by the way.... Well, what could a chapter called "magreview " be about ? I don't know..hehe..! Let's better get serious..,unless a few exceptions, most of today's magreviews just consist of a chapterlist, and a strange percentage ,whose amount isn't checkable at all.Further more, certain people use magreviews to slag a group with that they got trouble..that means the review is a total unobjective piece of poodleturts...pretty lame in my opinion. As I said..some mags DO have decent reviews..I won't name them here, you know who you are, don't you ? I think ,it would be nice to have a kind of mag-release charts..I know that it is impossible, because most mags get released only 4-5 times a year..their exceptions of course, but I think you agree with me in general..
I still want to review every mag I get ,though, and will take everything in consideration. At the end of the year,I plan to reveal the best mags of 1995... I really regret that I haven't returned to the scene earlier..so I could have covered all magreleases this year.I think you do understand that I am not willing to read them all over again, besides the fact that I almost didn't get any mag back in January, when I came back. I have thought of a system that tryes to consider everything ,a mag can offer, such as the text of course, the outfit, extras, the way of editing the mag, the graphics,etc,etc... On the next page (s) ,I'll show ya what the system is like up to know.I do personally like it as I think it is an objective way to review.I would really appreciate your comments on that.especially If you have ideas how to improve it,coz it is NOT perfect of course...
FIrst ,I should say that a mag can score points in 6 different "categories" .The maximum amount of points per category is 10..it can go down til 0,with steps of 0.1 points. Well..the first thing is the OUTFIT .You can get a high amount of points by having a good menu, proportional text, nice graphics,IRQ-Loader,easy handling ,a fast and good textdisplay, short loading times..etc.. you can get 0-1 0 Points for the Outfit..any outstan- ding sensations, such as proportional up-scroller (ed.yo Jesper..) gets extra points ,these extra points are explained later. Of course the TEXT plays an important role in a mag. Every chapter is rated 0-10 P.The result ,divided by the amount of chapters,is your score concerning the text !
Of course it is important ,how much text your mag offers. It would be easy to get 10 points by having one great chapter..10 divided by 1 is 10..so there will be 0-10 points for the amount of text in general. But (hehe) ..it's easy to have 31713 Blocks of text ,when your mag had a one year delay..that means, 0-10 points will be given for the time that has passed since the previous issue has been released. Ok..but..it would be easy (yes..again..hehe) to write down uninteresting bullcrap just to increase the amount of chapters and text..so a 3rd score for the 3rd category gets counted..I judge the text' interest in general..0-10 Points can be scored... These 3 scores divided by 3 ,result in 0-10 points. That is your score for category 3 ! Pheew...but that's not all...
the 4th categories consists of 4 small extra things that can easily in-/decrease the fun reading your mag. Point 1 : The INTRO ,if there is none,P1 will be ignored ! Point 2: Spellingmistakes. If there are too many ,the points go down dramatically.. Point 3 :The amount of zax .One gets 0.1 points (I doubt, anyone would dare to release a mag without music..that would be 0.0!) If every chapter has got a different zak, you get 9-10 points..(depends on the zaks' quality) Point 4: ENGLISH,such as grammar and your choice of words..I don't wanna "play" a teacher or something...but I can judge if it's bad or not. I know that my English isn't the best..hmm.I would judge myself with 7.8 points...(out of 10 of coz')
The 4 scores divided by 4 result in your score for the 4th category. The next one is my general impression of the mag.. 0-10 points can be scored.. Ok..the 6th and last real category has got to be ex- plained a bit..I think, and most of ya will agree that the most liked ,most read and most important chapters of a discmag are the NEWS and the CHARTS. So I take the 2 scores for the News and the Chart- section, divide it by 2 and add that score to the current result of categories 1-5 . These 2 chapters are so important, that's why I think I have to do it that way.
Well..that can be the final score for your mag.But wait.. as I announced earlier that final score can be higher or lower, after having considered any SPECIALS.. These specials ca be everything that hasn'yt yet been counted..I will give you a detailed report about those specials things every time.It may of course also be possible not to have any specials. Well..Now i show ya a small list ,how to handle the final score: 60 points: You must be god 50 + p. :A fantastic mag. 40 + P. :A good mag 30 + P. :Nothing special 20 + P. :Should be improved under 20 P:Fuck off, lamer ! Confused ? Well I am..hehe..but it will look easier after having seen some reviews...
The first one will be : SKYHIGH ISSUE 16 ──────────── The OUTFIT --------- No need to give you detailed information, because this is one of the most spread mag around.I don't like 2 sided mags so much, but that doesn't affect the score. The fact that the menu has been the same for ages now, decreases the score a bit (0.5) .. Score : 8.9
TEXT ---- Editorial: ................. Information about this issue 's chapters, and other facts about the mag. Score: 7.9 Biz-mix: .............. A really good chapter,we learn about his point of view on the "RRR-Saga" ,new supporters like Caprice Design, who has become Biz Kid's new Chart- slave (hehe..). Intruder had a good idea in supplying the mag with old legendary demos..
who get spread with the mag. This time it's an old X-Ample Demo from 89. We also learn that Quadro-speed tunes have already been used since 1986 by Martin Galway. Well..Biz Kid wants our opinion about his great big addy chapter..he always publishes the same addies every issue,so there are more than 200 I think (not counted...) .As long as they get updated every time,it's great. My opinion,Jesper: Keep it up like that, but remove addies of people who have quitted the scene.Various dudes who have done it ,were still in. If you are unsure about some dudes, ask around,be- cause it sux to contact someone ,who ain't available anymore,eh ? Another aspect he mentions is a phenomena that I have also noticed. Some people just don't get the correct spelling of certain people or groups, you can often see Jeroen Tell,Succes,or whatever..you forgot to mention Bizzare ,Bizzarre ,etc...I am Bizarre....Also funny is Choitare,Choitaire instead of Chotaire !

Well..they publish the same addies in every issue, so the chapter just gets updated,in case some people moved ,or changed their handle/group. A good idea , because 80 % of every issue's addies are the same ! Delay:7.9 ,it's been quite some time since the last issue. All chapters, such as articles, are really interesting, definately NO BULLCRAP to increase the text amount. Great! 9.6 Points. That means, the 3rd section gets judged with 8.8 (All 3 points devided by 3 )
Next one... The 4th source of points consists of 4 sub-sections: The Intro:Cool, but I prefer coloured ones. 8.1 Spelling mistakes: Almost NONE.GREAT job ! 9.8 Amount of zaks: Only 3,so only 3.8 English:All editors know how to edit a mag! 8.9 The final score for this section is 7.7 Hmm...the next points are given for the News and Chart section,as they are the most important ones in most mags.(Accordinng to those ,who only read these 2 chapters! There are lot of people, who do so!) News: 4.1 Charts:9.2 in all: 6.7
My overall impression of Skyhigh 16: 8.9 That's almost all..but we got a few extras that have to be appreciated.. I simply have to reward the use of a proportional up-scroller with 5.0 points. Further more ,Skyhigh offers to spread a search- advertisement for you,a good idea, 0.5 points. The same (0.5) is given for the spread of old demos. Really nice. One bad thing though is the use of the slogan "The next generation" . The mag INTERNAL has already used that one back in 1991 (or even earlier, but I read my first Internal that year) .I don't accuse Jesper of ripping it,I just inform you..I still have to "steal" 2.0 points.
THE RESULT: ──────── Outfit 8.9 Text 7.3 Section 3 8.8 Section 4 7.7 Charts/News 6.7 O. Impression 8.9 Extras (+) 6.0 Extras (-) 2.0 In all: 52.3 Points ! Congratulations for that great discmag !
The next magazine is the first issue of the mag Viewture,by Mental. Well..it should be considered as a preview only ,so don't judge it too hard. But I'm afraid.I have got a lot of negative things to say..I do not intend to slag them in any way..but I just can't deny what I have seen.. Well..let's start. Outfit: ----- Well..it looks like a mag from 1991 or so..no proportional text,no IRQ loader. That'S not a big problem at all.The main problem is a) that the Menu has to be reloaded (loading time !!!!) every time, and b) you can't flip the pages with the Joystick. You have to press "+" and "-". Well.but: The chapters have to be chosen with that joystick..so very unhandy ..hmm
Sorry..I can only give 1.8 Points.. The text ------- Editorial: ................. Some introducing words ,as usual, just a bit too short.. Score: 5.1 Next page...

Interview with the former leader of Shadow: ..................................................................................... What about the amount of text: 3.9 As it's just the preview issue, there is no release- delay.. But i think ,the editors really tryed to write some interesting chapters, they all are just far too short...I think 7.0 is appropriate for the text' general interest. So..the final rate for section 3 is: 5.5 Now over to the 4th section that consists of 4 sub-sec tions: Intro:2.3 Spelling mistakes:7.0 Amount of zax:1.3 (only one tune.. ) English:1.9 (Hardly any correct sentence can be found) Final rate for sectipn 4: 3.1
The next part of the review is just the average score of News and Charts .. 3.75 My overall impression is : 2.9 Well..there were neither postive nor negative specials to be added here...that already concluded the review of Viewture 1: 20.75 Hm..a really low rate..but remember that it was just the preview.I think, there is some potential..The editors should try hard to improve the text..the outfit also needs some "updates" but the text is more important. Try to get hotter news.or simply edit this chapter at last, and release the mag immediately after having
finished the news-section. It's a must to install a joystick control for the text display ! Just improve the mag from issue to issue... Let's see what the first "real" issue will be like.. One more mag to go for this issue.Well I am really sorry.but my copies of the new Relax and Tribune bug..so a complete review is not possible..shit..maybe I'll put them into the next Vandalism,if I get 100 % ver- sions.. Anyway..the mag that is gonna be reviewed next is the return SPLASH..only a couple of issue were re- leased within 12 months..they promised to release it on a 5 weeks basis from now on...I doubt that,to be honest...but I wouldn't mind being wrong with that, hehe! As always..the review is divided into 6 sections, each of them consists of some sub-sections...look onto the 2nd chapter to see the review...
No Control by TriAd (118 blks) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ At last a new TriAd production, and not only that but the return of their residential madman, Jfk. This time a one file demo with several parts inbetween. Quite a few people liked this small production because of the original and weird design, lets take a look.. Description: Some typical TriAd style music begins and a 4 inch wide static bar goes down the screen from top sideborder to bottom sideborder. Over this appears a simple Triad logo made up of characters. Then runs a 1x2 scroll under the logo, introducing the demo, Triad: Dealer, Quality, Software! Pressing space presents a small part giving demo credits in a 2x2 format and below screen appears a weird but certainly cool designed logo by M. Thy space is pressed after the cool music finishes.
The next part depacks and begins, firstly a 3 color high defined pic swings left to right. The picture contains a kind of slide, which goes down from far top right, to bottom left.. towards the viewer. Then some filled balls roll down the slide towards the screen, a quite original and cool effect. After pressing space a 2 half-screen pics with logo in 16 colors appear, again by M. These after a few seconds are swallowed up out of the screen by pacman style sprites. Some weird music begins the next weird part which replaces the pictures. A stair case and ball are shown, the ball journeys downwards the stair, music speeds up and the ball goes faster, very simple but kind of cool. This routine ends and disappears and the final part begins.
A 1x1 scroll with some cool "mind-games" style text starts at the bottom of the screen. Then some ant sprites crawl all over the screen both vertically and horizontally. Underneath these ant creatures, which suit the music, appears some left to right swinging pictures of eyes. There are four rows of these and all rows depict the same but with different colors, swing timing and eye size. At this time the ants crawl all over the screen. The part is quite hard to explain, but very enjoyable. Especially the cute scroll texts! Overall: A cool one filed demo with the main key being originality and style. A very down to earth style production that will hit you in a different spot than say a world record code. Very nice, 85/100.
Ritual 2 by Taboo (939 blks) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ At last a new production from Taboo and the fourth graphics collection from Cruise. This stunning collection is on two disk sides and has most graphics painted in late 1994 and early '95. All pictures are in IFLI format... lets take a peek at the collection, picture by picture. Description: Some music begins after the main file is loaded and some Cruise presents fancy styled text appears on the left portion of the screen. On the right side appears a picture of what appears to be a evil clown, i give this picture and intro seq. 87/100 Picture 2: is loaded and displays a skeleton hooded rider on a horse, the horse is running towards the right part of the screen and a "Ritual 2" logo is also displayed. 83/100.
Picture 3: is loaded, this shows a front/side on view of a old sailing ship. This picture is absolutly in the best of its kind, with great combination and fade in & out of colors, 93/100. Picture 4: The next is a piccy of an od two story mansion with interior lights on, its a pity no serious back ground graphics accompany this picture as this would have made it even more superb, 90/100. Picture 5: This next Ifli sample shows a demon or god spewing fire down a staircase onto a "GodFlesh" logo and seems for some reason to be in the near completed stages, quite nice but no real back ground graphics, 82/100. Picture 6: This next one was a coverpage used for the cool magazine, Skyhigh. Its is a sort of rolled old paper with the name "Skyhigh" scribed into it, it looks very effective, but i can't remember if its even been used before or not! 85/100.
Picture 7: This next picture mainly uses the blue colors such as cyan and purple. It depicts a Air balloon of a foreign civilization flying towards the viewer. Another excellent and original piece from Cruise, 90/100. Picture 8: This next piece of art shows a diagonal front on view of a female from the thighs up. She wears a type of catwoman style clothing and assumes a position of discretion against a wall at night, brilliantly painted a deserved 95/100. (ed: suckable breasts too! heh) Picture 9: This next Ifli pic has been used several times and was a competition winner. It depicts a naked woman and a evil flesh demon viewing her over a silver disk which takes up the majority of the screen. It appears to have a resemblance to some Roman civilization, and is one of the best Ifli pics ever, 97/100. >>>
Picture 10: Next is of a skull which centers and DOMINATes the screen, behind this, and to the sides is drawn the eyes lips and nose of a female. A very different style pic which shows careful detailed gothic, 88/100. Picture 11: The next pic shows a woman laid down with no clothing on her upper portion of her body. A winged demon cowers over her feeling her breasts with her claws. Another girl similarly clothed stands next to the demon, she looks partially at the viewer and appears to be sedated or in some kind of trance. Obviously a sacrificial picture. 87/100. Picture 12: Next is my favourite picture of the whole collection, it depicts a barbarian female with sword at hand riding on a white stallion into a wall of flames. She turns slightly in her saddle and gives a passing glimse, different evil looking background graphics surround this centering picture, excellent. 97/100.
Picture 13: This is the final pic and it shows a side on stance of a gir with large breasts (yum!) she wears leather style clothing (i.e. a whore) She looks up to the top left of the screen. To the right of her is a "The End" logo, 83/100. Other: The actual loader system is quite fast and a spacebar is optional to load next pic, although after a time the picture disperses and next part is irq loaded. In between graphics loading, some text swings into the screen giving credits, turn disk part and greeting. In the top right of this text is a cornering Taboo logo. Overall: One of the best graphics collections i've ever seen, a simple must for any true c64 fan to have. More votes will certainly flow to Cruise who will maybe grab the number one painter, a deserved 94/100.
Parts by Oxyron (231 blks) ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Great to see yet another Oxyron production on C64, you just can't keep a good group down! This demo is entirely coded by Graham and with supporting graphics from RRR. As some would have noticed, Graham has tended to be the main coder with semi work in Coma 12 and then Lameness and now full work in Parts.. Description: Some familiar music by the classic Rob Hubbard begins this new german demo. An Oxyron logo and tiny picture appears and then eventually fades away to reveal a full screen pic from RRR, which shows a full chess board on a tilt. Over this the presents and parts characters slide before the whole lot fades out to the next portion of the intro.
Then a side on narrow picture of city is displayed in the ower part of the screen. Some scroll text appears in the upper portion of the screen, which soon departs to reveal a vector city. The city should look a little nicer, but the routine is quite nice. Space is pressed. The next part is loaded and some cool music by Jeff/Camelot begins. A 1x1 scroller runs in the bottom of the screen, whilst the majority of the screen is covered by a grey pane which goes into the sideborders. To the far bottom left is a small "OXY" sprite logo. Then the main routine of this part begins with a sphere which rotates in the center of the grey panel. The sphere presents a projection of two female face portraits in four pictures which are bended around the sphere in such a way as to give an illusion of roundness, the portraits are quite nice! Space.
Part three loads and some music by Jch begins this great part. A fld scroller bounces in the bottom sideborders of the screen. Then one at a time, two Amiga ported pictures are distorted in and out from the on-looker. This effect looks quite startling, especially from a distance, and is another new & cool routine on C64! Space bar. The last part is not very complicated to say the least, after a short load, a THE END text appears then the screen transmission goes fuzzy. Overall: A nice to the point demo, with some great cool routines. I am eager to see their next Trackmo, come on guys! 85/100.

This time we have a report on the X-95 C64/PC party held in Holland. Freestyle/AVT was going to do this chapter, but unfortunatly the little "green" men attacked him hard at this party and he went into a state of amnesia and lost memory of all happenings at the party. But Spectator from the ruling co-op will fill in for this issue. Some brief news floated in concerning some emails on internet of the Tribute 1995 party, which is again being organized. We will keep you uptodate and hope to soon publish in the next issue the official invitation. Over to Pieter..
.X-95 party report by Spectator/Scs*Trc. After lots of advertisment done by internet spankers like Cba, mailfreaks like Splatterhead and myself and the usual bunch calling the boards, it was officially announced X-95 a party organized by Success (pc) Scs+Trc (C64) and Focus (C64) would be held from the 22nd and 23rd of April. Saturday morning, the 23rd, i left for my train and catched up with some dudes from Xenon. We travelled along to Utrecht where we already spotted some computer freaks at the central station, no known faces, but you could tell 8) In the bus i had the pleasure to see Styx and whatever his name is. Finally arriving at 1'o clock in the afternoon at the party place, it was still empty. But that would soon indeed dramatically change!
After having some chats with fools like Burglar (who was funny enough to introduce himself as Vortex - But after too many conferences i could tell this was Enno speaking 8) Cba and Mr "I'm fucked up" himself Nightshade, me and some friends checked out the c64 and pc rooms. Ofcourse this was a well known place as the Utrecht meetings and Silicon parties have been held at the exact same place. But for those who only know rge Utrecht meetings they opened some more rooms for computers. Time was passing and at the end of the afternoon it was pretty filled up with guys coming from Sweden, Switzerland,Belgium,Spain and the United Kingdom. By seeing more joints get lighted the atmosphere rose. At this time already an amount of 300 people were either inside, or outside enjoying the great weather. (Ed: and probably the great Dutch dope also!)
As for the facilities.. Inside you were able to get some warm burgers and a cold beer. Outside there was a dude with a car selling ice and fruits and whatever else you wanted. As the evening came along more and more guys boozed and smoked. Some too much, like Intruder/AVT, who puked into a garbage can 8) I was getting totally nuts at al the foreigners coming up to me and asking where they could find the Coffee shop (Ed: in Holland Weed is sold in Coffee shops) while Splatterhead and I were selling dope for fair prices 8) Passed midnight, Cba,Burglar, myself and some other coolies decided to go out in Utrecht which ended up to be a nightwalk through the city as we finally decided not to go. It was even a total disaster for me as i bumped into a car because i was totally stoned.
Coming back to the party one-eyed, i checked out the sleeping hall which was, by the way, really a good one. Inside you did not hear any noise from downstairs, another plus point! Anyway, as i was not able to give my eye the rest it needed i went down stairs again catching up with some old friends of mine like Neccy/Extacy and HeathCliff/Focus which resulted in more THC. When i was about to enjoy another joint my god's (Cba+Rest) were shouting at me that i should join them at the gods table, i decided to do so. At this so called GODS TABLE you could find guys like Tranziee, Newscopy, Solar, Mistry, Jordie and the usual bunch. Even i, with one eye left, could notice that CBA had again drunk a beer (or was it a cola?) too much and that NightShade 't niet meer trok.
Oh well, i guess that went on the whole night like this, to be honest i can hardly remember. In the morning after seeing some ugly photos from Solar of guys like Hain and all those weird looking americans 8) (Ed: and my short piccy, bahaha! 8) the c64 demo competition started. Groups like Reflex,F4cg,Bcd,Cosine and Slash competed. (Due to sad circumstances, RRR was unable to make it to the party with the Oxyron demo.) First ofcourse was Reflex, second was F4cg with a well designed demo. (Ed: all reviewed this issue) To the disappointment of some sceners, there were no graphics or music competitions. After the results had been announced, both winning demos on Pc and C64 were shown again.
By now some guys prepared themselves for a long journey back and decided to leave in the afternoon. The rest was recovering from their hangovers and took it easy. At 3pmm we decided to clean the pace and most people were goners. Things you should be aware of: -Jeroen Tel did not give a performance, as he was asking a rediculous amount of money for it. -About 320 guys and 3 girls showed up (Ed:super orgy!) -Newscopy/F4CG was kind enough to give "I can' remember" a blow job and let "i can't remember him too" take a photo 8) -Nightshade and Cba reaction about the Alphaflight crew: "Well, Max,Curlin and the rest were infact cool guys, but when they asked us what we really thought of Alphaflight..." 8) -A dude from Poland even was at the party, Morris/F4cg/Agony.
-that the chance of a "X-96" is infact pretty big, fans like Deff/AVT already begged us for it, and i quote: "man, x-95 was really a kewl party, if not one of the best!" Lets see what groups i can remember that were there: Xenon-Atantis-Afl-Bcd-Chromance-Avantgarde-Role Hardcore-F4cg-Equinoxe-Angry-Wow-Plush-Arcoss Reflex-Amnesia-Genlog-Excess-Triad-Trl-Sensor Des Slash-Extacy-Electric Brains-Cosine and probably more. Ofcourse FOCUS was present, along with SCS*TRC: Burglar,Moren,Mistri,Cba,Jordie,Nightshade,, Crucifier,Splatterhead, myself and maybe some more?! I really do not remember. Okay, see you all in the next year! Yours.. Spectator of Success+Trc May you live to see a joint!
INTERNET - How to do it (1): ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Welcome to another serie in the world of internet. Many people could use the old serie, but there were still lot of stuff to learn. So I hope this serie will be useful for you as the old one. Well! Let's start with some information about what we will look at in the next issues: Usenet News - There is 1000 of newsgroups around in ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ the world and we will tell you something about how it works and how you can use it. If you wanna look closer by yourself then you should check comp.sys.cbm Mail: - How to mail on the internet. How can you ‾‾‾ send mail from fidonet -> internet and from internet -> fidonet.
FTP: - One of the most interest areas on the ‾‾‾ internet. We gotta learn you how to FTP when you have left your session. WWW - We gotta look at one of the newest hits ‾‾‾ on internet. World-Wide-Web : look like FTP, but you are in a graphical world. Adv. Mail - Hm! What's Advanced Mailing will you ask ‾‾‾‾‾‾ and all I can say is that you also can get fileinfo via mail. Archie - How to look for files on the net. ‾‾‾‾‾ Gopher - The Worldwide search system for news ‾‾‾‾‾ Listservers: - How you can get news-letters from the ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ big world. IRC - About my second home :) The big place ‾‾ to chat.
Telnet: - You can connect to net-games & other ‾‾‾‾‾ nice information. FSP: - Something like FTP. Another way to get ‾‾‾ or send files. Setting up - How to provide internet services to ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ the internet. A long list of "dirty" words we look at. This time we will start with the FTP-program. Before I start I will give the contact adress you can get me at: t44[]dec5101.aarhuses.dk ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Use alfa-zero instead of [] ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
This time we gotta look at the FTP-program and how it works: FTP is the shortword of File Transfer Protocol. It's the normal way to get/send files on the internet. The FTP is supported by ftp-clients. Here you can use several programs. I will first talk about them and then how to use them: 1. Standard Unix FTP-client: The normal ftp-client for Unix is the most used client When you work in the unix- world you are in a totally different world from all other computer types, be- cause you can multitask all the processes & put them in foreground and in the background. This can't go into all dirs, but sometimes
you have to move the key- functions around your keyboard. 2. NCFTP-client : The NCFTP client is also used in unix, but this program have some extras & these functions can be very useful. One of functions is that you can keep your most used sites in a config file, even the dir will be remembered. This program can also do autologin to the sites. 3. AFTP: This program is known as the pirates FTPclient and that's because it used for secret dirs. If you ever have been on a pirate site for warez you have seen dirs with ctrl-codes, space and other funny chars. This program can be set in to snoop and then give the dirs again #-codes. The program can change dir with the #-codes.
4. Win-FTP: This is the only program I know that doesn't run in unix. This progam can't multitask, but you it's a nice program for people without Unix. There's only ONE BIG PROBLEM: if you wanna enter a dir with spaces, you can't do it. It means you can't enter the dir for the demo called : "Maxinum Overload" (example). This is the most used FTP-clients. Personally I use the programs from 1-3. #2 is very good, because a func- tion I didn't mentioned were the lookup function. The idea about the lookup function is that you can get a servers name if you only have the number & and the number if you only have the server-name. But things is very good as some servernames can be very long. For the last comment about the program I can say that you can find more ftp-clients around in the world, but this is the most used programs.
How to use them: The FTP-client can do 2 things about files: recieve or send them. The rest functions in the program is dir- functions or client functions. When you start an ftp-session you do like this: 1. You start the FTP-client and you will get a prompt with ftp. 2. Now you wrote open <serveradress>. Example: open ftp.funet.fi 3. The program will now try to connect to the server. If you get an connected message in return you are in orelse the line is lagged, line is broken or the server is closed down. If you one of them you must try to connect again later.
4. Now you get an prompt where you must write user- name. As you are using anonymous FTP you write FTP or anonymous. Then you get asked for an ident or your mail-adress. For mail you often only have to type in your userid and the alfazero, the rest will the program send. Now the ftp-server will check the userdatas and let you in if they are correct and if there aren't too many anonymous users. On some servers they have numbered user-logins. If you get throwen out because too many anonymous users you just connect again. Most of the times one user has left the site. When you get through these 4 things to do you should be connected to the site. If not - please redo the 4 things!!!!!!! Now we have to learn some commands you can use in the FTP-program (here we work after the commands in the standard ftp-program) and what the commands is doing.
The 2 mostused commands is PUT and GET. This is the only commands who have some specific about the file. The rest is settings in the FTP-program. Except the cd command that I will explain later. Get - With the get command you will download the file. Here you must remember if you are downloading a binary file you must set the filetype to binary mode. Most of the time you will get the file to your drive, but sometimes (if you get pirate software) you don't have the read permissions to read the files and therefor you can't download. Example : get prop14.lha Put - This command upload the file on the FTP-site. Remember to set the filetype to binary if you are uploading binary files. You can only upload files in dirs you have write permission. On some FTP- several sites you are able to upload files in all
dirs, but on these places they are sleeping or don't care about the server or you have to send e-mail to the FTP-administrator and tell him/her that you have uploaded and what it belongs to. Theres commands that to the same as PUT and GET. We are here talking about multiply PUT and GET. When you are doing multiply PUT and GET you use the commands MPUT and MGET. They works in the same was as PUT and GET, but you get all the files that match the filename (This can be many files you use wildcards). It works like this: Everytime the program is going to upload / down- load it will ask you about transfering the file. Now it's time for other commands for the FTP-program The first command is the CD command. All the command do is chancing the dir. Theres not much to say about this command, but you must remember that it works like the directory structure on unix.
As the dir-structure is a totally difference from the C64 dir-structure. In a unix dir you can have more than one dir! These dirs are called sub-dirs and have their start in the /-dir. The dir-structure is hiracy, like this: / │ │····················· Abe │ │ │ ·········· C-64 │·············· Gris │ │ │ │ │·· game │ │ │ │ │ │·· tools │······· Ko │ │··········· Docuements │ │ │············· Work
The /-dir is the main-dir and here's the sub-dirs con- nected to. Each dir contains 2 filenames : . and .. . This dot is a directory too. This is the dir that the upper dirs connects to so you can cd into the dir. .. The .. is also a directory but this is the sub- dirs link to the upper dir. This is the reason why you have to write cd .. to get back to the upper dir. With this short describtion you should understand how it works. If not send me a mail and I will explain it to you. If too many need to get it explained I will make a chapter about unix and how unix is built. hash - This commands turn on/off the hashmarking when you are transfering files. Very good to use - it shows how much you have transfered.
bin - Enable/Disable the binary mode on the file trans- fer. Theres 2 transfer modes on the net. 1. the 7 bit transfer and 1 control bit. 2. the full 8 bit transfer without controlbit. The FTP-program is normal set to 7 bit transfer and 1 control bit. If you forget to enable the 8 bit mode the program will flush the 8th bit, because it's doesn't store the control bit. Theres no problem is sending 7 bits transfer in 8 bit mode, so do yourself a favour and write bin as the first command when you have connected to the site. prompt - when you do a MGET or MPUT you can disable the line where the program waits for your accept. Here you use the prompt command.
verbose - disable/enable all the outputs from the commands you send the FTP-program. If this command is disable you get lines like: 250 CMD command succesful. quit - leaves the ftp-program. user - let you enter user and pass (or ident) when you already have connected to the site. pwd - prints the actually dir you are stading in at your screen. That was all for this time. Next we will look at advanced FTP. With this method you can download/upload when you logged off the unix. Any questions to me and you can mail me at the adress on one of the first pages.. 'till the next issue!.. Mason/MOTIV 8 ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Hack/Phreak and the naughty bits. /Warchild ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ What a time it has been! After having my phone disconnected temporarily and several dieing pbx's i manage to still call out! But whats been happening lately in the world of h/p. International News: * Hain/F4CG (Leeroy) got busted and was let free, for phreaking, his phone line is apparently monitored. * Sod (Society Of Doom) members got busted with their vmb city, Thrasher,Ogre,Phantom and Satan got popped. The reason? International pbx's, in their Albany/New York area. Which was unwise to do considering New York to be a high phone fraud area. Thrasher, was at first mistaken by Fbi to be me and some questions were asked about me, but fortunatly none of them budged! They haven't been charged as yet, but probably won't anyway.
Eliminator/AVT left AVT and the C64 scene, but will still call out on his new Amiga sometimes, with his 1800 routing came some problems, at&t have been cracking down on routing fraud and both Eliminator and Ultimate Hacker and have layed low. *Kevin Mitnick, a famous phreaker/con artist was finally caught after several years on the run from the law. He pulled and estimated 2000-3000 credit cards from internet users. Life in jail is what he got. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Getting down to tha' buisness, i've found an interesting technique for American ca$h. In all cities there are special machines called "Change Machines" which accept only notes, (obviously) but if you need change just insert say a $10 bill and the type of change you want (nickles, dimes etc). The way the machine reads the denomination is through the treasury seal. By counterfiting this seal of say a $100 bill and obtaining say 100 $1 notes and putting
$100 seals on them, there you have $10,000 in change!! Moving on, "Kinko Copy Centers", there is a way you can call any number in the world from the two courtesy phones located from within. This includes 700,800 and even 900 numbers! 700's i hear you say!? yep, 15 lined at&t conferences can be set up discreetly, in the courtesy room. Choose a Lds (long distance service) such as at&t,mci or gte. NEVER use Sprint or Oncore as these are two services "Kinko" work through and get billed by. Also don't use WilTell. Pick up the phone, wait two recordings and call prompts to pass. If a live operator comes on, ask her to place a call and say your having trouble dialling number. Mci is best for international calls where as Alnet allows better quality lines nationally. The call is then placed. Not bad hehe! ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
Now to the drug world. Most people think that a person who has drugs or addictive stimulates, has lsd, amphetamines, xtc, crack etc.. This is WRONG! I myself like to smoke pot, mellow out and sometimes load a "Censor Designs" demo to bend my mind. Hardcore drug users are often harder to find in europe, most just use Marijuana,Hash and Acid. With each issue in this chapter, i will write some details on several drugs, this time i've chosen Extasy and Lsd. (lucy in the sky of Diamonds.) Making LSD in your own kitchen! First, grind up 150 grams of Morning Glory seeds or Baby Hawaiian wood rose seeds. Then soak the seeds for two days in 130 c.c of Petrol. After this, filter the solution through a tight screen. Dispose of the liquid, and then allow the "Seeds Mush" to dry. Afterwards allow the mush to soak im Wood Acohol for a further two days.
Filter this solution again. Saving the liquid and labeling it 'A'. Re-soak the mush in 110 c.c of wood alcohol for another two days. Then filter and throw away the mush Add the liquid from second soak to liquid marked 'A'. Then pour the liquid into a cookie tray and allow it to evaporate. When all the liquid has evaporated a yellow gum remains This should be scrapped and put into capsules. 30 Grams of "Morning Glory" seeds or 15 Hawaiian wood rose seeds equal ONE trip. Before you obtain the seeds, some companies have been known to coat their seeds with Toxin. Order the seeds from a Wholesaler. Note: Lsd is NOT recommended, apparently the trips of this drug can be felt in milder drugs such as speed or goey.
Making Extasy by Motion of Noice. Obtain: 40.4 grams of Methylenedioxybensadehyde and 16.6 nitroethane in 160m glacial acetic acid and 16 gram of ammoniumacetate. Reflux for 1.5 hours; cool, filter and re-crystalize from acetic acid or methanol to get nitropropene. Reduce the nitropropene as follows: Suspend 0.2m of the nitropropene and Zn-Hg from 200g Zn and 20 G HgC12 in 2 lethanol and with vigorous stirring portions of concentrated HCI until the color disappears. Continue stirring one half an hour, filter, evaporate in vacuum to get about 0.14m or 3,4 Methyenndioxy Amphetamine. If you want the hydrochoride salt of the amine, dissolve it and mix with one third of its volume of absolute ethanol. Slowly and with continuos swirling (stroking?) an ice cooling add concentrated hydrocloric acid until no more crystals precipitates.
Cool to 0 and filter to get Amine HydroChloride. Next issue i will have some large details on everything to do with Marijuana and Hash. As most people have great interest in these two, "natural" addictions. Calling Cards rules and how do you make them last? Rules i hear you cry? Well in the past years things have gotten a little more sophisticated than early times, where a calling card could averagely last for a month or even longer. But over the past 2-3 years certain security methods have been advanced upon to help reduce calling card fraud. I will try explain some of these securities to you in some detail.
The first and also most common card is a at&t card, at&t is incidently now the fourth largest company in the world. I will mention specific facts about other cards when needed. On all at&t (excluding business/corporate cards) you have a option to dial another number once the party or board has been disconnected, by pressing the # sign. Excessive use of this sign will give a fast busy signal when you dial another number, this means the card is dead. Too many numbers dialled in a specified limit of time. At&t introduced a sneaky option that allows only one person to use the card at once. (except special cards) If say i used a card in Australia and rang someone in Germany and gave them the card. If we both used the same card at the same time it detects a "one-party" card being used in two different areas.
The card is automatically shut down. Any adnormal duration of time per call also quickens the death of the average at&t card. It is best two just place calls say 2-3 a day. If the origin country of the phreaker is Germany and person "A" used a card 2-3 times a day to America and person "B" uses a card 2-3 times calling from and back to Germany, then person a's card will obviously last longer. Although this is different concerning "World Plus" cards as they have a movable "Origin" card holder location, so where ever the card is used. Its only build for say local calls if within the country of the card being used or an international rate if its used dialling outside the country your in. Mci cards have a way of prolonging its life. When setting up or obtaining a Mci card, it is best to use the card as the table next screen shows.. >>>
Day: Calls: 1 1 2 3 3 5 etc, etc.. This sets in the card and Mci don't get to suspicious. Unless ofcourse the original owners uses it inbetween your calls! Sprint cards are nice in several ways. Firstly after successfully obtaining or setting up a sprint card. You don't have to worry about it dying if you don't use it. Cards can last for weeks if you don't place a call on them, until they realize the fraudulate way of setting up the card. Mci cards that are set up however only last a week at average. Sprint cards also have the availability to dial almost any number in the world, even countries such as Columbia and China which are very difficult to dial from
certain areas of the globe, because of drug traffic. Conclusion: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Next issue more texts on Marijuana and blue boxing from the basics, i hope also to finish my article and research into voice mail systems. □ Warchild □ 1800/441-1441

‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ · Game Scene by OverDose/Wildstyle Productions · ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ At the beginning there is always doubt, doubt that people are able to do what they promise in a decent style. This is why we are called WildStyle. Yes, Overdose of Wildstyle here, you may not of heard of me, but i am the main director of WS and we are producing games still on C64. Why come to the scene then? Simple answer, it has been a long time since a group has been producing/buying/selling games on 64, we will. At the same time we will be a legal group in the scene aswell. We will produce a magazine about the latest demo/game productions created around the world, etc etc..
But at the moment the Domination Staff have asked me to write a little bit about what games are expected from us in the coming year. Well as per usual there are alot of games we will not even bother to tell you about, but prepare to be shocked. Misfortune: The full version of this game will be a Wildstyle prod. now, strange? Not really, Mathew Cox/Bad Bytes, was sick of being pushed and shoved and decided to get the job done himself by selling the game through Wildstyle productions. Twin Terrors: Full version, unlike the preview version spread earlier this year. This game is looking rather cool, Nice graphics from the creator of Misfortune and
things of that sort. It is a platform game, well sort of, with many levels.. Furry Maddess: Yep, another new one to hit the street. It is going to be a game in the stye of Creatures, but no design other than the storyline has been produced as yet. This will either be a solo project or the sequel to Misfortune. Although there is still some talk over planning the second Misfortune anyway. We will in the legal side of the scene bring out a mag named "Wildstyled" not a bad name i guess, suits the style of the group! It will look at the legal aspects of the scene. Interviewing the top in the field in the efforts achievement. Also it will contain the usual scene chapters like the charts and so on.
But the release lists will not be present. It is against our own policy to see crackers steal our games and then read about it in our own magazine. Sorry, but any cracker is not about to steal our games of us. Mathew Cox had told us of his problems with this and we won't be spreading or giving anything away until its in the shops. Wildstyle Productions will also produce demonstrations and the like but not very often. We will be active, but not extremly active. Maybe one or two demos a year. If you want to sell us your game then mail to us at: WildStyle Productions: C/O Jason Brennan Po Box 1151, Glenorchy, Tas, 7010, Australia.
Some other games will follow in the next days, be surprised, be very surprised! Don't judge us yet, just get in touch and recieve a introduction package for selling a game. But any letters or disks seeming to be a cracker look out and expect no reply at all!! If you send us your game make sure its only a preview on the first mail. We don't want to take the blame for something not under contract. I'll leave you all here and let the normal editor continue the chapter, thank you for your time. OverDose of WildStyle Productions Article performed by Jason Brennan. >>>
Thanks to the Wildstyle team for that small offering. Firstly lets cut back into some game industry news from the people themselves. News Section: · X-ample from Germany seem to be soon back in the light again, soon to be released will be Genloc 2. An excellent jump and run adventure. Also from them will come a shoot-em up of epic proportions. · Rumours go everywhere concerning Apex, apparently they've been working on Creatures III along side a PC Multi-Media contract for 12 months with System III and Jaguar Software. They profited quite successfully with Mayhem in Monsterland.
· No sign yet of Batman Returns from Denton Designs, this game was handed to them from Ocean, and only preview shots have been seen. · Cosmos Designs have been working with some guys from Denmark lately (maybe Cml members?) on Lions of the Universe 2, namely Born is space. Also comes Fred's Back 4, featuring more great cutsy graphics from Gotcha/Ex-Crazy. · First Blood entertainment are still busy coding the double sided "Ik+" wonder called "GodFlesh", perfecting and getting the multiplex routine smooth as possible takes sometime they say. The game will be marketed from the United Kingdom & Australia on a mail order basis and a preview version will be distributed soon. · Codemasters are holding quite a number of games back, including a full price arcade game called
FireHawk. Perhaps D'ram of Avt knows? hehe! · New Entry from the Czech republic have yet to come Arc Doors 2 and Las Vegas Casino. Their other game Walkerz has been marketed through Electric Boyz Software. Which are also producing Defence. · Taboo productions released their first game preview called Zone of Darkness, and from the prv unplayable version, it looks magnificient. With graphics from Wojtek Niemczyk (Cruise/Taboo). · The Turrican III clone, Liberation seems to have gone under ground, although much work was done on this game and maybe a buyer has been found. Expect this to be one of the biggest hits on this computer!

––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– SlagBack /Jazzcat ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Welcome to the chapter where most "one" sided text from different sceners is published for the scene to draw their own conclusions. I think it best to publish different peoples beliefs or opinions in one chapter, rather than to spread it through the entire magazine. Because of certain actions and lameness from the members of the "Tribune" magazine i apologize that the latter half of this chapter is almost completly on them. I regret to give them even this much attention, as lamers, criminals that kind of people are always seeking attention, but in the wrong way. Here comes some reactions to the "federation" against Onslaught and the intro used..
Federation? Well why for starters, heres my side.. It all started on the boards, with the forming of a new group, started some new problems. Some bullshit began first with Peacemaker and myself having some disagreements on the releases of several games, namely Orbits and Misfortune Prv (mail version) both from Alphaflight. I was discussing whether Orbits deserved points because even though it was 100% 2-3 people complained of bugging in certain parts. It was my job to examine the games for "The List" and i eventually given points to Afl because of Peacemaker winging about points. He took it the wrong way and before long small then larger raggings on each other began. At this time i had some phone problems and my line was disconnected for a few days, in this time someone used my account on Deadzone and uploaded a fake first release original which Homeboy/O+H/C d'loaded.
He then thinking obviously i uploaded put an intro infront and thinking Ignorance cracked it (he was in both Afl and [O] at this time) it, released the game. Peacemaker saw this and got quite angry, because of the Ignorance crack credit in the intro scroll text. Ofcourse the release was fake but this didn't matter as Peacemaker never knew of Ignorance being in both groups at the one time. Thomas left Onslaught and remained in Alphaflight only after this to avoid both Afl and [O] getting on uneven terms. (Ed: Ignorance's own words). Then other arguements broke out when Curlin and Vortex started calling out and other members of both Onslaught and Alphaflight got into arguements that completly left the original minor disagreement. Onslaught and i think most "other" members of Afl never wanted it to turn into a group thing, but the way Afl did a anti-campaign against us, which included
a "Fuck You Onslaught" intro, it would seem Afl meant to involve entire groups. This time Chotaire and Deff/AVT had finished some small war between each other and i had minor dealings with Deff also. The x-95 party in Holland swiftly rolled up and discussion was made concerning the starting of a federation against Onslaught. Groups to be involved were.. Avantgarde,Angry,Afl and F4CG. The idea fell through though because of a "lack of support", but why a lack? Answer: because F4CG had nothing against us, Avt really only meant Deff, as we have quite some pals in this group being Darklord,Freestyle,D'ram etc.. Angry was in mainly because of their usual magazine disliking and arrogant style, also their friendliness with certain Avt members. Alphaflight seemed to almost succeed, but their
members involved; Peacemaker,Curlin and Vortex had left the scene, no point really and we in [O+H] have very many pals in Alphaflight. So now an anti intro is used against us, why do Afl get the feeling of a group attack? I think maybe because of the way we were attacking PeaceMaker in the end, he was a major member of Afl at that time and one with organization responsabilities. So naturally any frowns were forwarded to him, being the only active Afl board caller to the states. We NEVER attacked Afl as a whole group. But how could you blame us on the mocking of certain Afl members? They released a Misfortune 1 level prv + intro which was for mail purposes, this was uploaded to several german boards by Afl members and Irata/Trsi and eventually word of it reached the Usa boards. But why a worry about a mail crack??
Simple: The original was one way or the other from RRR of Oxyron, former member and close friend of Afl. The preview original was NOT meant to be spread, but it some how reached Afl hands, each directory of this game was changed when we spread it to people on the purpose of selling. So when Peacemaker and Curlin posted the directory, proof was at hand instantly. Upon consulting RRR about this he said the original was STOLEN from him by Marc/AFL. (his words) Questions may be asked by us such as.. Why did Afl cover-up the original supplier in the intro texts? Why release a 1 level prv of a game when.. a) we had 8 weeks before released a 3 level prv with intro of the same game. b) Scs*Trc did the first release of the same 1 level prv minus intro sequence over ONE year ago.
c) Shazam released and mega spread a 1 level version with intro over 8 months ago. The preview from Shazam, Scs*Trc and Onslaught was already megaspread by the likes of NightShade, Spectator,Vengeance, myself and others through the mail and board scenes. Releasing this "mail" prv version is in the same field as per say TRSI releasing a mail prv version of the game "Turbo Charge" and spreading it by mail. a) There is no point. b) Its gives a lame image. It wasn't anything about this way of releasing, it was just the particular game involved, a game made by close friends of the Australian section of Onslaught. So ofcourse questions had to be asked. Incidently Afl paid RRR/oxyron to do the full screen 16 color anti-ONSLAUGHT pic used lately.
Most of the arguements and bitterness towards each other has cooled down. RRR himself stated that he wants nothing much to do with Alphaflight no more after this preview thing, so more research will be done to unveil the truth concerning who stole the game or who supplied it in the end. Either way a conclusion can be drawn on a federation. This is how easy it is to understand the full intentions of certain people these days. Why the need of joining together to fight a certain amount of people?? weakness? needed strength? How can one of any loyalty to ones group even think of startings a "group" federation without first consulting with all members, aren't they the ones involved?? Thats why Onslaught is not at war, arguements or nothing, just the members of [O] involved. Think about it.
Domination: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ whooah! a breath of fresh air from all this anti and one sided text, i just hate it, but this chapter is for peoples opinions and so must continue. Now lets move over to the latest crap published in issue #51 of the "Tribune" magazine, the following is NOT directed at Angry or any other sceners involved with the Tribune magazine, EXCEPT... NTI/Angry and Mistress/Angry (hey been drinking and piccolas??8) Firstly most people in the scene no how this bullshit started between the mentioned people and the editors of both Domination and Vandalism News. Well, editors took insults to the arrogance and general slagging in 2 simple mag reviews in issue #49. Here is some interesting dog shit i found amongst other things (!) in Tribune lately, with replies.
□ Firsty i safely skip through the first 2 chapters of this magazine. Then i come to the "smelly" chapter by Nti. He says how i have cheated the Domination charts. But i ofcourse sent the votercounter by Doxx/noice with datas throughout the mail scene. But what does NTI reply with, he now claims through this chapter that i cheated the vote datas. bahaha! how lame, do you think i would type handles, groups, names into a editor with some catagories reaching over 1000 points, this would take me days to get the exact amount. What other evidence do i have?? perhaps if i send him over 160 votesheets through the mail which will cost about $25. Nti also claims i sent the note for Tribune excluding votedatas to Wile Coyote. Answer: WRONG! I don't trade and have NEVER sent any thing to this person, i spread the vote datas and note
through the mail as most people know. People sometimes wonder why Tribune complains about arrogance and how other people (Mendip,Dom,VN,Pulse) claim that they are arrogant themselves. Everyone just look at their past history of dislikings, raggings, controversial situations and other crap which has generally labelled them as a "Trouble" group. There is also complaints concerning Vandalism News issue #19 mail charts. Boo hoo hoo, Tribune are not in the charts, when they were in Mendip and Newspress. Well what can you say, a mag aiming at one thing only, a position in a charts section.. Well little editors, did you ever examine Vandalism News issue #20?? Tribune entered the charts at position 13. and did you ever examine Vandalism #21?? Tribune jumped from #13 to #7.
But ofcourse all charts are cheated! Yeah, right! The only reason you guys were complaining is because Tribune wasn't in the charts, how fucking PATHETIC! Nti also says something about a position StarLight had in the charts of A-Head. Can't you ever understand fool, that she spread the bulk of the A-Head votesheets. But your knowledge of magazine editing should of avoided this, as most editors know if someone spreads their sheets bulk two things happen: a) The spreader sometimes gets more votes from his pals he spreads the sheets to. b) The spreaders group/mag or other sometimes gets votes aswell, because of the friendship between to spreader and contact. How can you DENY accusations from MANY people of arrogance. When you read texts in the Tribune stating Pulse is dead (good riddance) is this a "Fair" mag???
Apart from this one more mistake you wrote.. Extacy and is NOT dead, as they did their comeback issue in January and are only slow releasing each issue. They also only just finished interviewing Bizarre/[O+H] for their new issue. The Pulse dead? I don't think so, incase you have noticed Mistress and Nti, Duke will soon be releasing the new issue with Crossfire soon, and we will have more good texts to read. So wrong again Tribune people. Perhaps if you stop accusing/slagging and generally starting trouble with a dumb lame arrogant attitude you guys have in your text, you may achieve what you want more easily, a silly position in some charts. The readers can make draw their own conclusions..
Domination: ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Phew! finally through that, i am quite positive many people want their own views or opinions broadcasted through this chapter. Or that the parties involved wish to print a reply. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ · Interview with Ed of Wrath Designs · ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– In a different styled "auto biography" type interview i proudly present, Ed of WD. A very talented coder whose latest work can be seen in 'Courtsey ofSoviet' Lets begin.. Hello! My real name is Eddie Svard (Sword) And I'm for the moment 18 years old (760917) and about 172 cm tall! I have brown hair (with shaved sides and neck) and I have green eyes... I'm quite easy to recognize, since I always wair my bomberjacket together with my 10-eyelet Dr.Martens and black Levis... But before you draw any conclusions - I would like to tell you that I'm NO nazi whatsoever! - I know that what I'm wearing is somekind of trademark within those underground-movements, but I don't think the clothes have any kind of importance! - Personally, I must admit that I'm just as "RED" as any other socialistic youth!
The last time there was an political-party election in sweden. I voted for the "LEFT-party", so now I hope not to hear any complaints next time I meet any of you on a computer party! In real life I'm still styding! For the moment I'm in the 12th year of nonstop studying and hopefully I'll become a commercial designer, when I'm finished (in about 4-5 years or so...) I first got my C64 back in 1987! Back then most of my friends also had one, so I guess most of us already accepted the new way of life - a life based on the man and his machine - the computer... I build up my first crew in 1988, I don't even dare to tell you what we released - pure shit really.. Anyway... Jumping a few years forward in the time, to 1990... I had made a demo, and I contacted: STASH (back then he was NOT a member of Wrath...) I joined a swedish group called: PANIC (Today most of the old members
are a part of the NOICE crew!) But only after some months, I got kicked out due to the lack of abilities in programming skills, and probably for other reasons aswell! Together with two of my best friends I joined MANIAX, and there I stayed only for a short while... STASH had got in touch with AVALON/EX-WRATH DESIGNS and we planned to have a meeting at his place... There I met OXIDY and we excanched a couple of routines and got to know eachother. After that meeting, I quitted MANIAX and joined WRATH DESIGNS... The year was 1990, and it was winter... In Wrath Designs, I made a couple of new things on the C64! However, it all changed in '92 when a huge internal conflict made the group split up! FAIRLIGHT was looking for new coders,so I joined them, but since Bacchus wanted more coders, OXIDY joined them aswell! OXIDY was the leader of WRATH in the good old days, and since most other members also joined FAIRLIGHT, WRATH DESIGNS died in the end of 1992!
One day, however, I decided to quit Fairlight, and together with AVALON we rebuilded WRATH DESIGNS! Throughout the whole year of 1993, I almost didn't do anything, except for winning a competition (with a sampled tune - huh?) And released two issues of MIRACLE (by MANIAX) and coded a small demo "THE AWAKENING"... Eventhough this was one of the worst years when it comes to activity, I actually think it was one of the best! It was at TCC'93 I met my good friend P.R.I/OXYRON, and still today we happen to excange a couple of words now and then... In 1994, We started creating the demo "COURTESY OF SOVIET" but the demo itself wasn't good enough for the scene! We didn't want to belong to the lowclass, so therefor we decided to recreate the whole demo with alot more fresh design. The demo itself got ready in the summer of 1994. But due to real lack of inspiration, we just forgot about the demo, and didn't do anything to finish it!...
But when it was christmas and all, we decided to finally release our delayed demo, and we also competed with it on "THE PARTY 4"! Celebrating the fact that we got the 3rd place in the competition, we have now got new inspiration to create new stuff, so just sit tight and maybe you'll end up getting a new demo - when you least expect it!! For the moment our group havn't got any musician, but P.R.I/OXYRON will most likely help us with that in the next demo aswell! The members are today the same people, which were in the old factories of WRATH, such as: STASH, OXIDY, TMT, BLACKDROID, JOE and me.. Today we have developed a understanding between the different coders, so that I'm the one that puts together most of the demo, and most of the routines aswell. But don't worry.. OXIDY and TMT have also made a couple of new things, which will be released!
BLACKDROID is actually very lazy on the C64, but still he's a member! For the moment he's more active in doing some serious programming on the Amiga 1200 instead of drawing on the C64... JOE is abit tired after all the pictures in "C.O.S." But will probably do some new graphics for the next demo aswell... There have been STUPID rumours about different members of WRATH DESIGNS for a long time now. One of them are that JOE was kicked out of ANTIC! THAT'S NOT TRUE!! - JOE LEFT ANTIC on the Party 3, after he had seen their demo.. (And that's the truth!..) Some other rumours are that TMT and JOE had digitized their pictures, that once again NOT true.. All pictures in the "C.O.S" are drawn from different Fantasy books by using a normal joystick! There are no BIG computers involved, and no "binary"-convertion have been made to create the BIG pictures!
The legal scene today is not as good as it was only two years ago... Only because you guys use Track-mo, it doesn't mean that the demo is good!.. Alot of people have forgotten that design is not a normal IRQ-loader screen! Design is something which makes you relaxed, upset or something else. Design is necessary to create an overall OUTFIT of the production - Without the design, you simply have a Demo.. With it however, you have something extra... Personally I have chosen to use the name "CHILL-MO", which is a concept invented by WRATH DESIGNS. It's main purpose is to make the viewer really relaxed, instead of just waiting for the next "huge" effect.. Since BYTERAPERS and OXYRON have done almost everything there ever was to do on a computer, I can't say that I have any wishes of a perfect demopart, or demoeffect.. My goals are to produce the ultimate "CHILL-MO", which will stone the viewer instead of using any kind of drug!
I don't think drugs can help a coder or a graphician in creating more individual work. Just look at famous artists like VINCENT VAN GOGH, in the beginning he didn't have any drinking problems, still he became crazy and a lousy painter, when he let the "DRUG" take overhand of his life! - Maybe drugs help one or two times, but after a while the person will get more interresting in the drug than in the Scene... That's why I personally don't like drugs at all! My all-time favorite dudes on the C64 are so many that it would probably take far too much memory to print them here. But TODAY, I think the following guys, in the following categories are the ones worth being mentioned!
Demogroups: CENSOR, CAMELOT, OXYRON Demos: "WONDERLAND X" "TOWER POWER" "COMALIGHTS'" Coders: BOB, TTS, MR.SEX Graphician: JOE Musicians: P.R.I, DRAX Crackgroup: --- Sorry I have NO idea what's Cracker: ------ going down in the "ILLEGAL" groups! Game: "CREATURES" Magazines: INSIDER, REVEALED Movies: BLADERUNNER, ALIEN (1-3) Foods: PIZZA, NOODLES. Drinks: COFFEE, MILK Women: All ORDINARY nice looking girls... Music: TECHNO, SYNTH, all kinds of electronical music! Sport: -------- Personally I don't like sports!
Today, the C64, have probably reached it's real limits! Without any kind of new fresh wind, the demos will eventually look the same.. The graphics wont be any better than it allready is, and the code will probably only be abit more fast in different routines.. But with the FLASH 8, I think a new world have opened up for us all! - The question is only wether we all should go into a FLASHY mode and create a whole new scene... Should we let the evolution transform the C64 into a more "Amiga 1200"-like scene.. Or have you forgotten how it all went when the Amiga 500 owners started quitting that computer in terms of joining up with the new 1200- people... Probably one can go totally crazy by discussing that subject, aswell as wether the C64 is DEAD or not!.. As for myself, I'll probably go FLASH 8, and start doing some new serious coding on that one - but what about all those that can't fix a FLASH 8?! Anyway, I think we all should give the FLASH 8 a chance, still there's a possibility for those who havn't got one, to create normal demos!
But we should not do as with the Amiga-scene. I think we should make sure that everyone knows the difference between the two different speeds, So that if there will be any kind of competition, the normal C64 guys don't have to try beating the FLASH 8-demos, since it would be kind of impossible, eventhough it's the same computer - only different speed! Anyway, i would like to greet and send RESPECT to the following: Censor, Triad, Pri+TTs/Oxyron, Unifier, Sledge+Tron/Flt+Eqx, Intruder/Avt, Reflex, Onslaught, JUCKE, Light, Draz+Stasi+Mazy/Noice, Acidchild/Taboo and a lot more!... Domination: Thanks for the nice biography there Eddie, we in Domination wish the best for Ed and Wrath Designs for the future. Just check out the review of their new demo in the reviews chapter.. "I'll take your mind to another dimension"
□ Interview with Mason/MOTIV 8 □ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ 1) Hello there Mason, as quite popular person, could yo please tell the readers a little about yourself (Name, Age, Looks etc.)?? Well, my real name is Soeren and I live in Denmark. My age is 21 and I'm 180cm tall with big blue eyes, black eye- brows and blond hair. People call me the man with the big smile. I'm studying Datamatics (Programming and analysis of computers) and working as Radio DJ on several radiostations. I love music, computers and girls. 2) Being one of the older members of this scene, maybe you could give us a history from when it began, until till the present?? It all started in late 1983 or early 1984. I got my C64!!! In the beginning years I wasn't into any group, but I began
programming BASIC. After 1-2 years I met Goonies from THE GOONIES and he told me about cracking and I got very interesting, but I had to learn machinecode. I did that from an age of 12 years and all I learned were the things about loader-vector, how did a the tape drive work (things that many newbee's doesn't know about). Then I started to crack, but I was also very interested in doing trainers, because I have always loved the idea playing with unlimited lives etc. etc. So I had to learn more about machine code. I did and I will say I know alot about making trainers and cracking on the C64. The group activities started in 1985 when I met Crossfire on the local radiostation. He should do some interviews there, but put me on the job. I was only there because I knew how to control the studio 3 mixer. Well - Crossfire and I did some small groups and splitted up for a while. Later we meet each other to movie project for schools and then I was a part of Danecrew. From Danecrew to now there have been 1000s groups, but to mention some of the groups I can mention:
Dominators, Danecrew, Motiv 8, X-Ray, Image, Acrise, Unicess, Epic, Joy Division, X-Factor and many more. 3) You have a special interest for the internet. Can you basically describe what you enjoy most from this and when you ever made the first call to the net?? HM! ..a big question, but let's start with my interest. It started when we got internet-access at the school where I'm studying. We started with the normal boring public FTP-sites, but I knew that it was possible to find the pirate software on the net. Some of the friends in my class got their fingers in some illegal FTP-sites. I checked them up and saw that nice games were there and I started downloading the stuff. Like you, I like new stuff and ofcourse I tried to get some more adresses. Well, QED from Triangle 3532 told me about a list of the internet users for C64 people. I got a copy and tried to contact some of the people there and I got response. Oh! ..a nice list with adresses of places with the pirate
software. In those days were going to finish a project at the school and I should stay there at Saturday and Sunday and I have never downloaded so nice (the speed of the transfer were high, because we were alone at the school). I also got in touch with BlackAdder who made the BlackAdder List. A list of adresses with all the new warez. That was fun for some months and then Xerox (co. president of the PC-section now) have got an IRC-client and have started there. He setup the client on my account and I should try it too and that was something I really liked (The first day I was online for 7 hours). IRC is my favorite enjoyment on the net. It's like the modem-scene, but it runs 24 hours every day and theres many users online at the same time. It's a place where it run fast like hell and I like the action about getting the warez just 1-2 hours after it's cracked & released by a group. Well, I started on the internet as FTP-user 1 year ago, but did my first IRC call about 7 months ago. Now we run
MOTIV 8 as PC-Internet section and it's fun to use the scene experience from the C64 and you also find many ex. C64 dudes (people like ex. ESI members, ex. NEC mem- bers, ex. Censor members, ex. Illusion etc. etc.), but also many of the known C64 people who is running the scene today. I will just here remind that if you are C64 user and have an internet acc. you must send an mail to tonyc[]compnews.co.uk (replace the [] sign with an alfazero) and you will be added to the list of C64 users on internet. Also get yourself a IRC-client and join us up at channel #C-64. 4) Your group not too long ago experienced a slide down hill, with members leaving, a board lost and no way to call out. Could you tell us if you were under any kind of pressure at that time to change group and why you stayed with Crossfire with the rest of the MOTIV 8 group?? First I must say that many people think that Motiv8 went
down, because Tricket and the german members left. All I can say about is that you are WRONG! The slidedown was not a surprise for us, because Crossfire and me have talked about it for weeks before it happend. The sceners must remember that since Motiv8 started we have worked hard and did many releases. Both of us had the lust to just relax for a while, but also that Crossfire should start studying on a new education & I used more and more time on the internet. That's also the reason why I didn't leave M8 when we were sliding down, because I were more interested in staying on the internet and I was a part of the decision that we should relax for a while. 5) Your all time favorites: Cracker............................................. 6) What have you and MOTIV 8 got planned over the next months, is there a goal you and your group may want to achieve?? First I can say that I first part of the plan were that we want to get back on the C64 scene doing some nice work. My personal plan for C64 MOTIV 8 is that all the members get on internet and we can use IRC to get closer to each other. Personally, I also hope I that we will start cracking in our PC section. I don't think we have any more goals left. We have been the best group in the scene and we showed people we could do a nice work. I also think Crossfire completed his goals in the scene and for myself I can say that I've reached my goal. People respect me as one of the best crackers/trainers in the world and that's enough for me and I will also say that one of the things I love now is that I'm one of the few veterans in the scene, who's still doing work in the scene. To the rest of the vete-
rans , i will say: love to see when one of the good old pals with the long experience in cracking does a nice job abd itsgreat to get some competition. 7) Yes,i agree there, its cool how a lot of quality crackers lately have been doing some good versions of quality games, take for example the latest releases of Ignorance, Jack Alien, Antitrack and Burglar.. Some real quality there and that breeds some nice respect and attention to the group behind the release aswell. It would be great if some old crackers such as Paracrax, (remember Enforcer+12??!) or even the late PowerPlant/LEGEND return back to the front on this scene. . Most know you as a excellent cracker, but after all these years is there any other job you've performed
in these later years and of present on this computer? Well, my favourite job is cracking and doing trainers for the games. I can code on this machine, but without you know it you have seen some work from me. I did several intros for Mechanix and Epic. The problem is that when i see an intro and i liike the idea, i just code it and thats why some of my intros are clones of other known intros. But when i code the intros i do it to show that you can make some nice intros that doesn't fill much in the memory. It's because like when i have a crack and have room enough to use. Why i like cracking and doing trainers?? Hm! I really
dunno why, becuase I love solve troubles, but I hate solvening troubles in adventure games. Well, I think it's I like doing a smart way to handle the fileloading (if you look at my of my cracks you see that I always use 01., 0A., 1., A. in the filenames). I also like to find out how the coder tries to make a game hard to train, because a part of the scene give up if they can't use their Action Replay Cartridge (only the TRUE wannabe's, that is...). 8) Whats your views on the modem scene or sometimes known as the "elite" scene, is it more fun than the mail or legal scene?? I have never been on the modem scene. Crossfire has always done that job. Okay! I have been on some boards sometimes if it was nessacary to reply on a post. I can imagine it's cool, but it's absolute nothing if I compare it to IRC. I can't give my real opinion on this question, but I think it's funnier to be many people around the warez table instead one at a time.
9) What can we do to improve this you think? and if you could have the scene anyway you liked it, what would it be like?? To start with the last question. Actually I the most part of the scene, but I think we have to some changes to get the scene much better. First I say that I will push to some of the building stones in the C64 scene. I think we should change the first release system. I like the idea that people must have the fight about getting the release out first, but I don't think people can't sortout some kind of releases as they do know. I know that some lamers will score top points releasing 5 small home created seuck-games, but there's a way to fix it. One of the rules we must add to the first release rules is that a release can only be counted as first release if the game can be copied with a filecopy program. -5 points to people that broke that rule. I think it's a very
important rule. Many of the german games is build on the wellknown copy-protection with green & black lines while loading. It's a track/sector loader where you can't see the files. This is a part of the protection and the crackers' job to remove the protection. Then we should change the point-system for things people release. We count a first-release as (3,2). The first sign is the price of the game and the second is the quality of the game. If we should count this release it should give 32 points to the group who release it. It will give full point to a group who release a nice game, not a seuck game. We should just multiply the last num- ber with 10. Well, it's not the biggest problem in the scene right now. We all know the problem, not many things are getting released now and in fact England is dead for C64 releases from the major companies. I know that many have big plans about making some games, but they only
talk about it. They have to do something. Many of the english software companies are still interested in programming teams, because they haven't really had any conversion teams since teams like Probe went to the PC and console scene. I know there are many teams who can do some nice games. DO SOMETHING or the C64 will die in England and that's an important area for us. I think it could be great see C64 version of many of the U.S. Gold, Virgin conversions and they used teams as Probe to their work, so many you should send them a preview of a game. If we can get some action in England the scene will be much better. 10) What are your views on things such as the flash 8 card and the failed Commodore 65. Is this lame to still make these devices or?? I don't think we need the flash 8 card. We don't need it. We can do lot of things with the Commodore 64 with only one megahertz. About the Commodore 65: I think it's too
late to put it out! If they have to put it out it have to be very cheap and they prices of software have to be the same as the Commodore 64. This will make it as good machine that can fight against the Snes and the Sega. I will hope that someone else will buy the rights to the Commodore 65, because Commodore have done shit with all their machines since 1986 and all of them failed. 11) What your favorite part of the scene?? Do you live for the games or do you prefer legal productions like magazines, demos or tools?? I won't say I like a special part of it. It's one the best things in the C64 scene. We have do different job that also are against each other and still be friends. Take a look a the (L)Amiga-scene and the pc scene. The people who make the demos hates the crackers. So the scene is best, because of all the productions that get coded/ released on the C64.
12) Nearing the end, please greet anyone you wish and say hello to the many out there. Well, I should start from the beginning to the end and the list will be fucking long, so I have grouped all the hellos. First I say hello to all the C64 members of MOTIV 8 and say to all of them: Keep up the good work! Enjoy the fun that people thought us to be dead, but they could not kill us - we survived. I must also say hello to all the PC members of Motiv8. It's also the section I'm president for.It was a great shock to the scene and it just blown them away. Let's continue the rock and make them more scared. A really big hello to Stumble: We gonna do some more sexual flirting on the net. I must also say good luck to Xerox. Good Luck! I don't hope we see the police after your sysadm at the caught you. But see it from the positive side of the
case. All the members is known for doing a fucking nice work and do all the dirty things that people dream about. I should also say hello to the C64 users that's on IRC. We have nice fun on the #c-64 channel (btw join us up). We must continue kicking Snowball from the channel. But you know that the channel can't be protected with a strong bot (did I say JAFFA?! Huh huh..). Also hello to my good old friends in the scene that had been here for many years and also a hurray for those still alive in the scene. The rest the dead ones - Find your machine again and do some action. At last I will say hello to the people who do a nice and good work for the C64 scene. Keep it up! This is not for the lame newbee's, but for the elite people that do a decent piece of work for the scene and takes PRIDE in doing so.
13) Thanks for the time my friend, any one last thing to leave a final impression on your audience?? I will also say thanks! Okay, I've been in the scene for fucking many years, but this is my first interview with a mag. It was fun! Keep up the good work with this mag. You are heading in the correct direction. At last I will say to all the people who use internet. If you not are on the list of C64 internet users then send a letter to Cheif from Padua (you can find the mailaddy earlier in this interview). You can also ask for me on the IRC net - just look for [MASON]. Remember to tell who you are or I will walk all over you! □ Mason/MOTIV 8 □ ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ (C64+PC-member and huge internet-addict!)
INTERVIEW with IGNORANCE/AFL by BIZARRE/HCON ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Well,yes..this is my first ever contribution to Domination.I am now presenting an interview,I have done with Ignorance/Afl . B:Bizarre I:Ignorance B: Hello,Thomas.I hope you have fun with this interview. most people ,especially those who have been in the scene for longer now, know you very well. But you surely know that a lot of new dudes decided to enter the C-64 scene.Could you please describe yourself, including your personal data ,your scene career with all former groups and functions, your real life and so on,so that everybody know you very well after having read this interview
I: I'm nearly 26 years old, have 2 female children in the age of 2 and 4 years (Jacqueline+Monique) and get married at the 26th of may 1995 !!! My wife is 23 years old, has big tits and fucks like a devil ! At the moment I'm for 8 years in the german army as an sergeant !! For the rest leave e-mail to me and send some money! I started in 1986/87 in a group called 'The Foxes INC.' ( TFI ) and later called FOXES ! Handle: THE MONSTER Then our leader joined with the whole group 'The Sharks' (they needed some original-payers!), after some time where nothing happened, we went over to 'VIRGIN' with the same result ! Then I joined 'ROYZEX' as HEATSEEKER ! ROYZEX went completly to MANOWAR and after some time I joined 'LAZER' !!! Guess what ? YES ! Then I left and joined 'CREST' as a cracker ! CREST didn't spread my cracks very well and I met THE ARROGANCE at Goldrush's place ! After lots of fun and beer we decided that I crack also for 'X-RAY' as 'THE IGNORANCE' (Sounds like Arrogance, eh ?) !! And then: CREST - X-RAY - ENIGMA - TALENT - DYTEC - [O]
B: What do you personally think about the dudes and groups that have come to the 64 the past year ? And do you think, the fact that ESCOM took over Commodore (and the consequence that the C-64 will be produced again for Eastern-Europe),will affect our scene in any way? If yes, what do you think will happen ? Maybe more high quality games ? I: Ofcause more quality wares, a longer life of the C-64, more hardware for it and more..... C R A C K S !!!! B:Would you like to see the C-64 being available in every German store again ? Which price would be appropriate in your opinion ?
B: The fact that you left Onslaught for AFL,caused some controversy, now you have the chance to explain the whole story in your words.! Is it true that the main reason was to have a German fixer, namely PEACEMAKER in your group ? As he has now quitted the scene, for how long are you gonna stay in AFL ? I: NO COMMENT ABOUT THAT !! NO ONSLAUGHT-PROPAGANDA ! (ed: hehe)
B: What do you think about the Federation against Onslaught ? I: NO COMMENT ! Don't release BASIC-GAMES !
B: Do you think it was a wise decision to stay longer than necessary in the German army ? I mean you are still in th army...for how many years will you stay there in all,and WHY haven't you just passed the 12 months compulsory military service ? I: Because in the army I get nice money , do not much work (only til friday 12.00 o'clock ! ) and give little pissheads orders !!! HEHEHEHE !!! I'm a sergeant now since 2 years and I will be all together 8 years in the army ! After this I get another job and a lot of money ! Alright..that's all..see you somewhere else ! Bizarre of Hardcore + Onslaught (HCON) in May 1995 for Domination #4, an independent discmag by Jazzcat and a lot of other sceners.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– The Reactions. By Jazzcat/[O+H] ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Welcome back to the reader's opinion. We had some great reactions with issue #3 that will be published over the next pagers. A good presumption would be a very mixed reply after this issue with the outfit changes. But these should be minor. The reason being of a pure concentration on the TEXT output, rather than outfit and intro priorities. Domination needs as much constructive support as possible to make the magazine as good as possible for the wide branch of tastes our little scene has. On with the Show!...
Midnight Mover/TRIAD: I had a look at Domination for the first time.. Dude, be sure this is a BIG compliment for you because i am very selective with magazines. But your mag is damn cool.. Yeah, i enjoyed reading it! Keep on this work and give me the next issue as soon as you can.. kewl! Domination: Thanks for the reaction, i myself think that most mags have their own style or "peak" parts to make them different. Hopefully Domination doesn't fit into the "norm" catagory with this issue and you enjoy it much, thanks.. Tranziie: (Editor of Propaganda) David, just a quick one, while i'm at it. Morbid's music in the mag was the lamest i've heard.
Ripping music from Skyline is as ow as one can go. OK, he did some slight changes, but it's still Skyline's music.. The Danko Music from Sh0ck is to me untouchable. It was and still is so special, so using that music is more like using the Gamer's Guide logo in your mag. The music is connected to Sh0ck, just my opinion. There was not very much more to add about your mag. Still loved the magazine!! Domination: Thanks for the constructive comments Peter. With the Skyline music, this was done exclusively for my magazine and in my opinion was quite a good cover from the Skyline original. The tune from Danko was infact from the old Censor Design's intro which appeared mainly infront of the Sh0ck magazine. I used this and the Skyline tune to bring a sense of nostalgia for the reader and also memories of the old scene, in a new scene styled magazine.
It was just made for the "feel" and nothing else, and as always a concentration is made on text quality and the presentation comes second. Hope you enjoy this issue and especially its musics.. Stan/Equinoxe+Flt: (Editor of Shout!) from issue #2)) The second issue of Domination was as good as the previous edition, probably even better. Particularly i like the interviews, in the first edition, Jeroen Tel and Bacchus. Now, Kingfisher/TRIAD, JCH and Cyborg. Thats exactly what i like to read. Moreover, finally someone again who takes care of the American scene, continue that chapter in any case. Something you might change is to keep the addy chapters a bit more updated, i myself do not care that much, but honestly it has shot my eyes that the addies are rather outdated... A well-edited first-releases list is quite appreciated, continuos this one, too.
to sum it up, you are already on a high level, though it's just the 2nd edition, but lets see whether you'll even climb in the charts more than you're doing now. But all the best for the next issues in anyway. See ya, Stan/Eqx+Flt [SHOUT EDITOR]. Domination: Thanks for that long reaction Stan. Hope you again in this issue enjoy the interviews and other chapters that fire your heart. As you can see since the third and this edition the Advertisments chapters have been much updated and inproved. I'm not too concerned on chart positions in other magazines, just a general improvement of text quality and variety. Hope you enjoy this and other editions of Domination to come.
Xenon/Alphaflight: (buffered from ESCapade) Again, no problem. Domination is in my option a bit better than Vandalism News. (Hey Vengeance, its only MY opinion).!!! I really like the totally cool coded magazine in/outfit. Its fucking nice. The graphics are okay and the text, (The important thing in a mag) is very interesting. Good work pal. Domination: Thanx for the comments. Well, i work for both Vandalism and ofcourse this magazine, Domination. Hopefully between our two differently styled magazines, we can keep the scene with a smile on its face! (Drugs? me? naah!!:)) Hope you like this outfit and brilliant intro as much as the last issues..
Draz/Noice: (buffered from WAQ :+46/8384587) I really enjoyed reading it 'coz its written in a very good way. The outfit isn't what i call brilliant but thats not what counts anyways. The chapters i enjoyed the most were the ones where you ragged heavily on the Tribune staff.. Domination: Thanks Ingemar, Hope this outfit improves your taste buds a little better. With Tribune, well they got what was coming to them and quite a few people of the scene were annoyed with them at that time. It seems they have a general hate for board based magazines. I myself what this magazine to range from modem-mail-demo scenes. Hopefully my english isn't too much at flaw, but i suppose people such as Nastiness Inc and Steve of Avt think otherwise, oh well. Best of luck with Noice!! (goats are never sober!!:))
Riddler/Active: (buffered from WAQ) Great oufit, and great texts that you really put down a great deal on making the magazine perfect! You really succeed in being neutral as far as it's possible, and an example of this is the fair release charts! It's my favourite modem-based disk magazine at the moment, and i hope (and think) that you'll keep it up! Domination: Thanks for that inspirating response after Domination issue #3. Hope to see a smile on your face and tickle in your taste with this new issue with a brand new outfit and slightly restyled texts. The release list is done on a perfect points system, which can only bring the reader up-to-date with all datas taken directly from the boards. Anyway hope you enjoy this new issue..
Rap/Jabole/Name: As regards to your magazine, Domination, latest issue was rather cool but i saw some text bugs, like Nes/Axel! He's now Spark/F4CG, so where did the votesheets lie? Keep it cool, like it is already.. Rap. Domination: Thanks for the short but to the point comment Rafal. Not sure where that votesheet came from, might have been a seamail delayed one from over a year ago. But be sure the problem is emitted. What only four issues in nearly a year?!! That maybe might explain the age of some of the votesheets. Hope you enjoy this issue.. more >>>

With this passing i would like you to read some text from ScapeGoat of Topaz Beerline and to remember Scope/F4cg. Desert Inside My SandBox. ...Another breath escapes from his mouth, through the dry lips. Avoiding the white sharp teeth, as sharp as razor blades. Not only a human, half machine he passes the hot desert having no fear giving no thought to the certain fact he will face his coming death.. Since there is nothing, nothing but hot sand. He opens his eyes after a long time. A reflection of pain appears on his face when he collapses to the ground, having no strength to go on.. The sand plays in the air.. the silent whisper of wind goes on while the man moves no more. Rest in peace Mathias.
